As a newb I can´t ask my questions somewhere else.

I just found this british Raspberry PI chip, does anyone on here has one or can tell their hahsrates for Litecoin mining. What other hardware is interesting for LTC mining? No BTC FPGA`s because LTC needs much memory.
SO, any suggestions what´s else out there for LTC mining???

Thanks a lot!

In the future, rather than hijack a thread with something completely off-topic, you should start a new one!  (This is worthy of it's own thread!).
A quick search of these forums shows:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=66759.20
And GoogleFu shows several possible results.  Good luck in your quest!

I see that in the litecoin-qt client there is a "mining" button. Can I use it to get coins? What I have to put on the "threads", "scantime", "server" and "port" settings?

I'm on a MacbookPro running OSX.

With a CPU mining Litecoin you could point it at one of the pools to get partial litecoins based on how many shares you submit. See http://www.litecoinpool.org/help

Right now it wouldn't be worth running a CPU to mine litecoins. better to go with a GPU or high end Radeon card. 6990, 5970, 7970

I don't really care about electricity, as my machine is almost 24/7 anyway. With a 3 years old MacbookPro, how long do you think it would take for me to make 1 LTC?
