I tried Coinbase.com, Xapo and Blockchain.info. Blockchain is the best and Xapo is definitely the wrost. It simply just gives you a very small control over your account.

Its funny that you say that because any service that knows your private key, actually gives you 0 control over your money because they could steal it anytime.

Coinbase and blockchain are 2 completly different ideas of online wallets.  They really should not even be mentioned in same sentance they are so different.  One is very open you have key's, other is locked down tight and with KYC know's who is holding on site.

I still have been playing with Yubikey.  No matter what your using make sure to use second factor authentication.   I wish all sites had it.

I have been using coinbase and xapo for a long time , but after seeing all your reply i think it is not safe to use web wallets as they are the controller of the wallet , but i think coinbase support and security is very high and good, even they give you the signed message from the address of the wallet.

I have just tried some days back with desktop Wallet Electrum and i think it is cool and good high security , but can any one explain me is it good and safe to keep the savings bitcoins in desktop wallet like electrum

You dont need bitcoin core for electrum, it works without it.

Just create a new electrum wallet and transfer the bitcoin there, it would work like that.

well you still have tried only web based wallets , they are much prone to hack as private keys are not stored over server , in case of blockchain.info new webwallet it is even more worst as point of convenience.
I will suggest you to use desktop wallets like multibitHD , it is good IMO.

Also hardware wallets I really like.  I wish more people would switch over, but a lot do not due to price. Ive tried Trezor, Keepkey, Ledger, and all 3 are great way's to keep coins.

Nothing touches hardware wallets on safty.   Only one that arguably does is a unused paper wallet and that is if you don't use it.

They have their bugs too, I`d not put all my money in hardware wallets. They have online interface, and any online device is vulnerable.

It is never safe to use online wallet. However, if you are new to bitcoin, i recommend you to open two online wallets for start. When your btc amount gets high for you, you can save them on your computer. When i started bitcoin, i opened a blockchain wallet and it was my saving wallet. I also have a xapo wallet as i am interested in xapo faucets. In my opinion they are best because they pay instantly and they don`t have anti-bot links. If you wish to follow same path please check out my list for best xapo faucets and you can claim some free btc. You can also get some refferals and increase your passive income. In my opinion it is best way to enter bitcoin world. For xapo faucet list;  www.bitcointime.site

Of course never put your entire holdings in one place.... but a good hardware wallet  is much better then most hot wallets.  Which hardware wallets have you tried out personally?

And it depends on what your doing.   I'm sure you can link to some old story/article.  But in reality I think Trezor would beat most hot wallets out there.  And if your on a compromised machine.... then hardware wallet excels even more as it signs on device not computer.

Please find any CURRENT vulnerability on Trezor that does not require user being at fault.

I tried Coinbase.com, Xapo and Blockchain.info. Blockchain is the best and Xapo is definitely the wrost. It simply just gives you a very small control over your account.

well you still have tried only web based wallets , they are much prone to hack as private keys are not stored over server , in case of blockchain.info new webwallet it is even more worst as point of convenience.

I guess Trezor is cool isn't it?

It is the most popular hardware wallet that is for sure.  I have tried others and there are some other's to that I liked some aspects of.  None have the following that Trezor has.

Using hardware wallet over hot wallet unless small amounts I think will catch on more and more.  And I hope those using hot wallets use 2nd factor.  I still really like yubikey on blockchain.info as far as hotwallet with just a little in it.

I'd much rather recommend you to use coinbase wallet if convenience is what you are looking for. If security is your concern, then trezor wallet anyday!
