litecoin is a good choice if there are any good movements from the dev and the community of litecoin because until now, the litecoin is still in to deep and still sleeping but i am sure that litecoin will be wake up and be the next ethereum. but for the other option, maybe i will choose ethereum classic and doge. i think the real ethereum is the ethereum classic and we can see that there are a movements for etc classic in the market and so far the price is stable, and for doge, i see that doge is the one of classic coins that have a big fans in the market and i am waiting for good price.

Otherwise there is no reason for Ethereum to exist... and it will fade away.

And people can forget about legacy projects from circa 2013-14...
The crypto space is moving so fast that anything conceived 2 years ago might as well be Windows 98.

I might say leading edge stuff like Directed Acrylic Graphs and IOTA...
But CfB and "iotatoken" are neck and neck with "John Connor" as the Biggest Assholes In Crypto...
And attitude really takes it's toll on a project... ultimately dead ending it with a small cult of sockpuppets.

LTC is dead no devs updates nothing for years. Get over it. Say what you want about ETH but it has support from the community and the devs. Not least the banks and Microsoft. Ffs. Buy a Coin with future not one with a past.

Say what you want about ETH but it has support from the community and the devs. Not least the banks and Microsoft. Ffs. Buy a Coin with future not one with a past.

Unfortunately there seems to be a decline in interest in Ethereum. For example if you read R3s history (see link below) you'll find that they first tested the Ethereum platform for two weeks in January with 11 banks. That test was widely reported and helped increase the value of the public chain ETH despite involving a private chain only. The next stage involved 40 banks; but contrary to statements on these forums the Ethereum platform was abandoned for these tests. The platforms used in those tests were supplied by Eris Industries, IBM, Intel and Chain. R3 has gone on to create it's own platform (Corda)

I think Ethereum is the father of Altcoins, Zcash try best to hit BTC and Ethereum but all investment fail !
So it is really difficult to say what will be the next of ethereum but one day some coin will hit BTC and Ethereum.
But No body knew when this will happened so lets hope for the best and wait for the right time !!
