Most of the BTC leaving Waves will probably be getting back in sooner or later.

All my points were valid, dismissing them as fud is idiotic. This thread is starting to sound like the DAO slack.
Me:"There's holes in the security, we can't reach quorum, ether is literally leaking from our funds..."
The response I got was
"Stop spreading fud, slock.it will take care of us. And my favorite IDIOT NOOB clearly this is a beartrap..." this was hours before the news broke and price hit rock bottom
Lesson of the story, think critically. Prepare for the worst, and most important don't be blind to the problems people point out. I sold my DAO AS SOON AS I SAW funds leaking while people sat around buying lol clearly it's a bear trap and the curators will protect us...

The only thing I hate about this sort of shakedown is it also allows non ico investors to grab cheap waves too which basically is kinda slap in the face of investors if there isn't some future meteoric rise. I know it's all part of the game but doesn't mean it's not shitty either for those of us who handed our btcs to the devs.
Now perceptions will be once it reaches 37k+ that it 'went up' when in fact it's just most of our buy in price. We can say it's just manipulation but no one likes watching your investment take a dip especially when it was such a gigantic ico.

I have already stated the bioviva is a complete waste of time and brings 0value to the waves project. In fact I am completely against it and if I find out the devs paid for the announcement I'm selling out.. you can attack me for that comment all you like, as others have a few days ago... Let me explain. 1: bioviva is a biotech company with limited funds dealing with gene therapy. This revolutionary idea is so far from becoming realistic that for a company to make a profit it will be decades out. Yes, decades. 2: biotech companies require lots of money to burn. And this one will take considerably more, probably in the range of a billion+ before they even make it to clinical trials. We will not be able to give them that amount, and they will need it for success. 3: ask yourself, if the company is such a great investment, why wouldn't they be on wall street asking for money? Probably because wall street knows better and said GTFO. Bioviva is a money pit, along with 90% of biotech start ups. I'd be much happier if the devs announced a crowdfund to make a wormhole to heaven. |
