There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

IMO, instead of just trying to raise as much cash as you can a better way would be to have a limit. The usual thing is to have a business plan. example: We need 100$
$20 for marketing $30 for dev $10 travel $x for, you get the idea...
and have a set number of tokens from beginning.
This is an extreme example, but imagine if there were only 1,000 wave tokens. The buy wall would be huge!
I wish waves the best of luck, obviously this coin is diluted like crazy. I will buy back in when I feel the price is right, because I do want this project to succeed.
This is a problem IMO, all these ICO's its just about, "Lets see how much we can raise!"
well, it backfired

We still have 163 unclaimed signature bounties! Please note that the claims post-June 7 were not processed as many members have already withdrew their ICO funds. As such, if you are one of the remaining unclaimed users, please send your Waves address (not ICO email account) to “WavesSignature” to receive your bounty.

I would really like to know why POLO hasn't listed. They would make a good sum in trading fees.
Either something's wrong, or they don't want to put it on due to the conflict of interest in their business model. Surely there is someone with inside info on this!

it's not conflict of interest because they listed ripple. it is something else.

it's not conflict of interest because they listed ripple. it is something else. I think they are more careful to add new coins, cause DAO was found a fatal bug. So they check security as a priority to avoid next ICO fiasco.

WOW, another dumping is incoming Absolutely ridiculous that these weren't distributed BEFORE the launch on Bittrex. Lisk did an excellent job of continually waiting until a majority of investors had access to their coins and Poloniex had already been confirmed. I seriously can't believe people not having access to their Waves while the price is going down on exchanges. Oh and let's not forget Sasha manually gives access, not some automated process. The man raises a good point to be fair. It is unfair that people are having to wait as the price plummets. However on the flip side, the chances are these people either didn't do the steps correctly with verifying addresses aswell as they could have just been late withdrawing. I know I received mine about 48 hours after withdrawing to the lite client, and that was a couple of days after going live.

Lol, man! This is public information (2,204 users can read it!) We do not hide anything.
Also public, lead developer / founder does not know how to calculate ICO price. Either he is an idiot or a troll. We trusted this guy with 30,000 BTC??? Time and time again he mentioned that there would be buy walls: Oh, and here's a great example of how concerned investors are treated in the community slack (before being banned for asking legitimate questions) Apparently the Waves cheerleaders think that if someone sells below ICO to cut their losses they're a drug addict who needs the money for drugs. The only people on drugs are the people who think this project is going anywhere, who are still holding the bag. +1, I think sasha doesn't know how to calculate ICO price, the price should be 0.000368 for half fund, cause last 4 days they received 15k btc. And he thinks 100M is a total amount of sold coins which is incorrect, cause he sold 85M to us, and the other 15M was not sold.

Absolutly nonsense people had enough time for preparing the launch on Bittrex. If you was sleeping two weeks without checking anything then it's clearly your own fault.
