Is it still worth participating in the ico?  my few BTC's wont even make a dent in the total from day 1.   This is insane!

Lisk got 600 BTC on the first 24h and it gave a 30% Bonus. Most of the money got in on  the last 3 days though.

The way this is going, considering its a 50 day long ICO, the total ammount will be impressive.
I like the Waves project a lot, but its looking like a bigger gamble to get in the ICO then to wait it out and buy later on.

I would not be too worried if you withdrew directly from an exchange. An upside of unique addresses is that your funds can definitely be linked to your account. I see no reason for deposits from exchanges to cause problems.

Extending the Bonus period will not hurt anyone and also the devs have right to do so for fairness sake.

Well there are other things to address as well. Despite how great that sounds, the reason for the extension is also because of this email confirmation issue. It wouldn't be fair to people right now who are trying to register their email (lots of different time zones around the world so some may have gotten there late). So a time extension AND crediting when purchased / confirmed (2 confirmations) would be extremely fair. It would be OUTRAGEOUS if we purchased during the bonus time period AND the 2 confirmation was within the bonus time period, but the deposit was made (due to issues on WAVES' end) AFTER the bonus time period, and we are still NOT credited the 20% bonus. This assumption is definitely true.

Some people have a strategy to wait for the last day. If the ICO is made shorter for any reason, it must be well publisised so that any change in the advertised ICO is not done in a ninja-style.
