I have applied for the signature campaign just now. How much time will it take for my application to confirm? It's manual, so likely within 24 hours. However, it is the weekend soon, so it might take a little longer.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011: "I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00. Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/" ...sigh. If only I knew.

I think it depends. Waves created a fair amount of PR for the coin and then offered a day-1 bonus, as opposed to a strict, first-week bonus which is also common. The typical trend is that their is always a rush at the beginning, it tapers off and then at the end it spikes because a lot of heavier investors also like to evaluate how much to contribute after they see generally how big the ICO size will be. I could see Waves raising between 6500-8500 BTC by the end. That's my guess, unless they start releasing some insanely amazing, "ground breaking" news that gets more attention.

6500 btc is amazing as is, but it's already at 5000 so I feel that It's going to reach far more then you suggested.

But, it is my high/low range. I did forget to factor in Lisk speculators. If they get to dump their money for profit, and there are a lot of speculators interested in this coin, then we could see a huge surge of investments when Lisk goes live and is released to an active exchange.

How much is WAVES worth and WHY is my WAVES decreasing?!?
No one knows the EXACT value and won't know until the end of the ICO. There are set X amounts of WAVES available during this ICO and all the WAVES are distributed PROPORTIONALLY to how much you bought and how much the ICO raised. The amount of WAVES in your account will decrease as more people purchase because there is a finite amount set aside to be distributed based on many factors.
For example, if there are 1000 waves and 2000 people all pay equally (regardless of the amount), we will all get 0.5 waves each. I hope that makes sense by using a very basic example.
The below are ROUGH estimates based on how much WAVES I have, divided by dollar spent at this exact time I posted, that it'd cost right now to obtain this many WAVES, but once again, the value decreases as more people puchase.
35 WAVES / $1 350 / $10 3500 WAVES / $100 7, 350 WAVES / 0.5 BTC 14, 700 WAVES / 1 BTC

What makes you say that? Just the chance for a pun or is there some real reason?

ico will stop in 46 days. the more people invest in waves the less waves you will receive. don't worry you will make profit.

Thanks for your estimate, but ICO has only started 3 days ago and there is literally no way for us to accurately represent the actual worth of waves since there's so much time left until the end of ICO. We can only speculate. So far the only thing we can say for certain is that WAVES is going to be huge.

I somehow feel like its a trick to let people spend more. I don't like it... lisk did the same and that didn't feel better... It felt way more professional with ethereum style selling, although its more or less the same shrinking percentage... but you feel more safe like: I bought that amount and it stays that amount...

Good article here: http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/04/14/waves-ico-ddos-attack/One of the exciting uses of WAVES lies in its adoption by the traditional finance sector where the financial institutions can support and issue WAVES tokens in place of legal tenders and financial instruments. These tokens, carrying the same value as the assigned fiat currency can then be used for making transactions, maintaining cash reserves and more. It will also enable KYC and AML enabled blockchain services depending upon the segment of the industry it is being used in.
The WAVES platform operates on a proof of stake protocol and shares many similarities with Ethereum and Ripple protocols. The system is expected to share few similarities with Ethereum’s Casper and Ripple-like gateways for transactions.
If it achieves mass adoption, then WAVES can be used to create multiple decentralized applications catering for multiple sectors, all operating over a single blockchain. It will also help the institutions maintain different degrees of transparency in their operations along with the inclusion of decentralized KYC/AML process integration. and this: http://themerkle.com/waves-ico-after-day-one/It is a time of significant ICOs, with other recent offerings raising millions of dollars in funding. WAVES has similarly caught the interest of the cryptocurrency community and proven extremely popular – boding extremely well for the development and marketing of the platform in the coming weeks and months. With a focus on user adoption, crowdfunding and integration for fiat tokens, development on WAVESis continuing throughout the ICO and the first lite clients should be ready for use at the end of the fundraiser, or shortly after the process finishes.
