Stop guys dont buy anymore, my waves get less and less. More Waves sold, more money raised, and lump sum of money is good for PR. So maybe it's not so bad more people are buying in

Well, this only works when the ICO price goes up on trading (which I admit does a lot). However, if the price is flat or down, then you're either selling for a loss or selling to break even. The point is, the strategy should be followed for all ups, not just at the ICO. Some coins don't go up immediately after the ICO (Factom comes to mind) but will go up later. In that case, it is better to hold for that first pump. Of course, the risk is that pump never comes.
I never said it was foolproof. All ICOs are a gamble and yes most ICOs do go up but there is no guarantee. Also even if it does go up you may forgo even larger profits that you could have had if you waited - e.g. ETHER all time high (so far) was nearly a year after release, so if you held on to your ETHER and sold at that point you would make much more than if you had sold some of your coins in the first pump. On the other hand NEUCOIN went down almost immediately after launch and doesn't seem likely to ever even reach the ICO price again. It's all a question of risk and how much risk you want to take. None of us have a crystal ball (at least one that works) and can predict the future with 100% accuracy. When BTC was about to hit $1 many people were saying that it was the right time to sell because it would never sustain such a high value and would soon crash down to a few cents. You just never know for sure and that is cryptocurrency in general. In the case of WAVES the POS/lending model gives an alternative way to increase your holdings though. Also given the high community interest and buzz surrounding WAVES I think if anything the risk will be more about lost profits from selling early so people should think carefully about what would bother them more - losing their initial investment or doing the equivalent of selling their WAVES early like those who sold BTC for a $1. You mention Neucoin. Even with the POS rewards, it did fall down quite a bit and will likely never recover to its ICO price. That might be similar to Waves - you never know. The market knows about POS rewards and will adjust accordingly. I know a ton of POS coins with good rewards that just keep falling faster than the reward system. It is incorrect to think that Waves will definitely beat the odds just because they have a POS/lending model.

All POS starts trading at higher price, then falls to bottom as number of coins starts to increase. None of the coins are out of this trade pattern.

As long as the demand out pace the pos rate and there is no problem at all. It's great incentive for holders to hold on to waves for a long period of time.

Will this be traded on some high volume exchange or on poloniex like ethereum. If it doesnt get prelisted on a high volume exchange it will go nowhere trading wise.
ETH went from 150-300 Million market cap to over 1 Billion just with POLO volume alone, mostly due to FOMO. If WAVES hits 100 Million we have 1$ a coin.

At the moment the market cap stads at roughly 2,8237$ .To my understanding Poloniex is baked in a cake having in mind it still one more month for ICO to go on .

What do you mean by "backed in a cake"? Are you suggesting that they are eager to list the coin? Do we know this from some source? I'm hopeful Waves will get on Polo. I'd be eager to hear any news we have on that topic now or in the future.

Waves will be inflation-less system, limited supply.

Seriously though I think poloniex will add it because of the market capitalization on release and the legitimacy of the project aka, having banking affiliation. I do not think they want to miss out on the volume.

However it's based on my research of any coin market cap to listing on Poloniex expectations relation .Bigger the market cap-better for any exchange because of traffic and fees you can generate out of it. Trading volume is a king however. Let's hope it will happen.

Hello, i'm in the bitcointalk bountry whit this signature? If i want invest 1 BTC in the ICO how many Waves i receive? How i can calculate it? Thanks for the reply You can't calculate final number of coins, because nobody knows how many people will invest until ico ends. Anyway you can calculate current price in BTC, when you divade all available supply for ico and already invested BTC.
