If you are planing to open a new different concept shop then
It depend whether it is local or worldwide.

It is great that you decided to start an online shop which accepts bitcoins as payment.  Especially now that the demand in bitcoin is high and many are using it now. I suggest that if you are going to start a shop like buy and sell or etc. You should start locally first, then when your shop is known locally, then it os the great time to start internationally.

What is your online shop ? Local or international ? If you are in Local only then list down all the trending items you know in your place nearby. Just roam in your nearby environment, look at the markets, ask some people, or interview. But if you pick International, always look the good and worse of it. The good is you can sell at different countries. But you have to set warehouses or something like that in some countries because shipping is at must. But if you are selling game cards, then that would be easy. Also beware of your competitors. The higher the place, the more competitors.

As I stated in a similar thread, you may want to shy away from digital goods. You may want to look at a product you can make, a product you can buy in bulk cheaply and resell, or possibly even offering a service. But as far as digital goods go, unless you are creating them (say photographs, or music) you won't be able to mark it up enough for it to be profitable.

Also, think about things that all bitcoin users (your target) use. We all obviously have internet devices

i think food would be good idea just you wouldn't be able to ship it to other countries which is problem, but otherwise food is decent thing to sell for bitcoins now

i think you should sell game. it is more easy to sell and easy develop your website. You can also sell digital goods like game accounts, steam wallet,etc

yes o.p have to acquire license, complete taxpaying information and what now (he can't fake his identity in this case) but the method is proven and it works. There will always be users willing to exchange bitcoins for local currency and as long as o.p maintains his reputation at localbitcoins or any other forum he will be fine

Tell me you planning counties, you are going to established?A serious advice do not go for indian market as you need lot of rules and laws to follow.
Go for video games and especially mmo games as they are very popular amongst teenager.

You can try dropshipping. That way you won`t need to store any goods. And you can find many sellers from who you can buy in bulk at cheap prices

If you are making world wide shop i would suggest selling Games keys,Steam gift cards,amazon gift cards,etc.
However if your shop is local then you can also sell food which will be easy to deliver than worldwide shop unless you serious $$$ .
If i get any other idea about it i will edit my post and add some more stuffs

Well, here is my suggestion. In your online shop, sell electronics especially cellular phones with the latest model. And here is the catch, sell also second hand items that is still in good condition, most of the buyers will prefer to buy from reputable store on the new ones so better sell second hand phones.

When you are just starting your online shop, it's better to start with software items: games, ebooks, audio books, plugins etc. When you are well known, then add physical goods to it.

I would buy steam games, steam wallet or game online items with bitcoin. I think you can thing about it, i'm sure you will have many costumers with it.
