I want to launch my own online shop which will accept bitcoin as payment but I can't decide what to sell

@crypto-boy, as suggested by other member's of this forum. there are lot of thing's one can sell online but, i suggest you should not just dive into selling any stuff just because the are request for such product's or b/c the profit margin is high.

As someone who has been selling stuff online,below are my suggestion(s) from a personal perspective:

-Make few research on ebay & amazon (because these are the no.1 source for people who are ready for online purchase )
- Based on your research above, analyze and focus on those product(s) where you have first-hand experience i.e i sell computer because i can repair computer and offer assistance to friend's who need's computer assistance.

- Final use google search engine to finalize your research by looking up yr competitor's (people who are already selling what you intend to sell) Accepting bitcoins as an alternative method of payment is a great advantage over your competitor's who donot accept such payment. And, those using bitcoin might likely purchase from you instead of buying from your competitor's.

You can try dropshipping. That way you won`t need to store any goods. And you can find many sellers from who you can buy in bulk at cheap prices

dropshipping will only make you gaining a little profit rather than producing the product yourself,and if I were OP I would prefer selling a digital goods than a physical thing due to cost of shipping and etc,selling digital goods will make you getting pure profit and not being cut off by the shipping cost so it's really worth it

Yes, dropshipping is only earn small profit, but you can do this easily because you only need to find costumers and you only give their catalog into your online shops and they do the process.

I would to add something from this when you are able to sell all of this. You must think about what the trend is, and I would like to say that we are in modern technology days and people are dwelling more with their smartphones (Androids & IOS) so if you are going to build your own online shop make sure that it supports those platforms.

Well if op is going to build up just like an amazon type of online shop and he is going to sell everything in demand for sure it is going to have a tough competition for him.

Dropshipping is small profit, but if you spend the time, and have alot of items with a large store, you can make lots of small profits for a big profit.
If you look on ebay / amazon, many people there are making money only off dropshipping, but its not easy and you have to constantly stay ahead of the crowd.
As more people get into it as well, you will start seeing more of the same product advertised differently at different prices.

If you want to start your own store, you need to see the costs of shipping in your country to other countries. I live in Australia and the costs are so expensive most of the time the profit margin is not there when you include the costs of shipping.

Always do research before you invest money into a idea!

This is very important. Ask people who has experience, gets advice, tips, etc.

I used ebay to sell 2nd hand goods, then got into dropshipping, and now i do both.
But let me tell you, having to pack all the items yourself that you sell then ship them takes time, so normally you want to invest money into making this a shorter easier process.

I always wanted to buy computer hardware with Bitcoin, such as RAM, Processor, etc. I know that there are many sites that already sell these things, and there are even so many people that sell these things here in the marketplace. But AFAIK there is still no site that just selling computer hardware and only accept Bitcoin.

Well if op is going to make an online shop about computer hardware for sure he is the only one that is the first to accept bitcoins.

I think that is a good idea if you are going to start out your own computer hardware since we are in the technology industry and accepting with bitcoins.

I agree with you, you must set a plan first and do some research regarding your targeted customers. The competition are already tough when it comes to online shop as there are a lot of online shops that being trusted by a lot of people already. Think about how you are going to get their customers and what you need to do to get their attention.

since your idea is better for btc earning but you can choose another way to earn btc .
you should not only try to sell your shop goods but you should start recharge topup for mobile all over the world with bitcoin . because goods are easily available at exchange site purse.io for goods amd gift card but top-up recharge is not available .

I guess you have the point with that and I just want do add that he must study first what are things that his competitors still doesn't have. It is just like getting some advantage from your competitors since you are still going to create a new one. You must have something that is going to attract a lot of potential of customers even you are just newly established.

I like your ideas guy for making an online shop. The competition is really tough if you are going to build a new online shop, because there are big companies already in the market of online shopping. Amazon,alibaba etc and for me you must be unique because each of those popular shops have their own unique concept for their customers.
