I can get parts and build, but is there a demand?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Sure there is demand.

What I would like to see is a miner optimized for MHash/kWh and one optimized for low noise and one that is both :-). A small dedicated box that fits into a utility closet or something would be nice.

even with low KwH usage you cant keep a miner in a utility closest it will get hot too over a few hours.

I could certainly build for max MH/kw but low noise would be an issue if you actually want to get any hashes out of it. As Belkaar said, I wouldn't recommend putting any high power computer in a utility closet unless you have some good air conditioning in there. Tongue
