I have a noob question. By my calculations POW will last around 25 months, after that how will the network continue to function securely since there is no POS?

you seriously need an exchange for this, before it goes into the oblivion, we can at least create an oct thread in the market section, to encourage some trading

I did sell 325 NPT for jc12345 for 15k sat each, we did 2 payments and i did go first on both times. so total 0.04875 btc worth sold I think this was first NPT deal to exist atleast on public, cheers!

That calculation seems wrong, did you take into account block reward decrease? Cryptonote uses a different emission formula.
