Hey everyone.

I have seen a few services like CLDmine and I remember an older one called stacksomething..
I dont remember..

Those were cloud  POS mining services..

I am thinking of setting up a server that will run 24/7 and just PoS on it.
Question is.. What coin would be best for 24/7 PoS?

And if it goes well ill maybe do like big PoS mining sites.
To share the money making potential and it will make myself a bit more money.

My power is free (To a limit.. No big 1KW miners..)
So it could be fun to do some PoSing.

Anyone got some suggestions?

Questions like this will just result in people suggesting the coins they are holding themselves.

Yes... But it gives me a list of coins to analyze and see if its worth buying into them or not.

If you want to do research on your own then I recommend http://cryptocoin.cc/search.php to you. You can easily find most coins with a specific property.

If you want to have a favourite list of myself (and no, I am not invested in them all):
NEM, NXT, Ethereum, Bitcoindark, Qora and Bitshares

A coin called Ethereum is PoW at the moment. it will become PoS in a year's time. You have plenty of time to do some research on it.

Not touching that thing xD
And I would rather like a coin that I can invest in now.

You are right. The site is currently not working for some reason. Hope the devs will fix it soon.

If so, take a look at Qora. Around 10 Sats at the moment. Unique code base, great features, good developers and active community. It is worth 400k at the moment.

For Research use CoinMarketcap to see pricing & total supply as some are a few cents with only a million coins and some others only a few satochi but billions of coins.
Plus read their discussion forms, to see the coin's general mood and direction.
You will also want to determine what amount of coins is needed per block to stake as fast as possible to gleam the effect of compound interest.

If you decide on any of them, Here is a link to my bootstrap service to save time syncing with the coin's network.

I highly recommend Evopoints Rubies and crypto bullion for staking they have a strong community and a solid road map they are more likely to stay around ,you can get these coins on Yobit quite cheap right now..

Isn't Decred kind of PoS as well? Opinions are split, but maybe it's worth a look.
WARP could be a sleeping giant… Or a very awake dwarf(nah, that metaphor doesn't really work, does it? I think you get my point…).
Mojocoin will be PoS as well and is still in the ICO phase. If all goes well, you could buy in the ICO, sell enough to get your investment back and keep the rest for staking purposes.

CLAM ist also PoS.  It is used for gambling on Just-Dice, which seems to support the value of the coin.
The main 'issue' with it is that it was given to all BTC, LTC and DOGE accounts a while ago, so sometimes new diggers increase the supply massively, without warning.  The distribution was fair though, i.e. no IPO.
