Greetings!

CoinURL is back in business!

Advertise your Bitcoin and non-Bitcoin products and services today!

Over 10,000 members!

I have set up an Operation Fabulous ad banner which will be displayed across the campaign management.  Minimum bid is set at zero and there will only be one box so you will get maximum exposure for your bitcoin. Ad box link -> https://operationfabulous.com/advertiser/index.php?e=site_page&wid=1253

Brief description how the service works.

1. The advertiser buys some number of impressions for chosen CPM price.
2. The publisher posts his shortened links to some place in the Internet.
3. When a user clicks the link, all ads participate in selection procedure. Ads with higher CPM have better chances to be shown. So this advertiser will get faster completion of his campaign.
4. Clicks are being analyzed to detect cheating. Legitimate are paid, impressions from fake clicks are completely refunded to the advertiser.

Well we are not withdrawing out BTC, neither from our publisher nor our advertizing accounts.

Time to switch the ads back, to real BTCitcoin ads.

Glad it's back. Too bad it came with an empty wallet. Sounds like they tried to rip us (the users) off, whoever owned it previously.

There is some logic to it not coming with a wallet, if it came with a wallet the site would have cost as much + the wallet funds which nullifies the point of coming with the funds in the first place...  But yea, him selling the domain names it did seem like he had intended on leaving the users hanging.  I'm so glad I had the opportunity to bring everything back online and save the day for everyone!  Smiley  I was always so frustrated at how low the bids were on the site and how little the publishers were earning, so the user balances themselves aren't a back breaker by any great amount, I'm sure the site will quickly regain financial equilibrium from the zero wallet, and at that point I will definitely lower or even nullify the fees.  Right now a publisher can get all of their funds and not face a fee if they put their funds back into advertising and that works out great since at that point all I need to do is keep the server paid up, and the hosting fees are not going to break the bank, I don't have to look at the site's earning and look at the hosting fees and see a problem if the site costs more than it earns, all I need to do is focus on further promotion of the site and try bring in more clients to make more money that way!  I'm a great marketer, and I know of many ways to bring CoinURL to the next level and any costs between now and then are just stepping stones to the future.

Hi mc_lovin,

I got a comment today from a "site" that thought we had stopped our revenue sharing program.

However, when i log on to coinurl and check the revenue sharing for his/her address it shows up with a balance
but when i check the address in blockexplorer there are no transactions.

I pointed him/her to the coinurl site so he would know we are not scamming him/her, but still there seems to be a
problem with the revenue sharing payouts.

Any comments.

Are you planning on integrating/merging OpFab with coinurl?
Or you are planning torun it as two separate services.

Interesting, as far as I have been aware, I get the payment requests from one script and I pay them out with another, if there is something different with revenue sharing, and it could very well be, I will ask the old admin!

Good question,

I would love to integrate the two of them, but there are a lot of things standing in the way.

OpFab is built on so many different architectures that are completely not compatible in any way, plus the way the bids are done and everything, basically they are two completely different, even non-competing, ad services.  It would feel sloppy to integrate them I think.

On top of that, I don't own OpFab entirely.  I would rather buy the other half of OpFab than sell half of CoinURL, yknowwhatImean?

Just setup an account and put ads on the bottom of our pages at Pizzaforcoins.com. Our hope is that it will offset costs so that we can lower pizza prices.

Great service, easy to setup! Smiley

From pulling up the website to having the ads on the bottom of ALL our pages took less then 5 minutes. Thanks!

I put up some ads on my blog and on my bitcoin game, so far only got 0.036 from ad revenue, but I probably need to get some more traffic before I can earn more Tongue

Bid is extremely low right now, traffic is nearing 800,000 impressions per day yet we are still seeking new advertisers!

Why don't you remove the link shortening thing?
It's only used for crap, earnings are extremely low and it completely kills the server.

Remove that, save a lot of money in a cheaper server, hire some designer, remove the 25% fee... Profit for everyone!

Fees reduced as soon as humanly possible.

Link shortening thing is actually more popular than the banner ads.  You'd be surprised.  If need be I'll upgrade to a larger server! Smiley
