Competition is never irrelevant.

Pretty sure other projects will emerge with this kind of features.

The hype around ethereum makes it seem like "smart contracts" are needed. I do agree it is a nice possibility, but so far I have never needed it, and if people would have needed it, it would have been invented a lot sooner.
It now seems they are offering a solution to a problem that does not exist. Meanwhile the inventors are cashing in, people jump on the train afraid to miss it, without ever having shown a single application that we can use. Or even better: an application that we need.

It will be quite difficult to predict whether tomorrow its price will increase or not, the price volatility is one of the nature of cryptocurrency, i believe thats why trading can also be considered as gambling, because we can't be really sure what will happen next

Before the mass ETH shilling,  Ethereum  were marketed as a supplementary Alt coin to Bitcoin offering the best solution for Smart contracts.... now everyone is selling it to people as goat piss and a wonder

cure for all things Crypto. I would not pay too much attention to all these pumpers, because they are just into this for the quick profits. How many merchants do you know of that accepts ETH? ...and as you

said, name one significant application using Ethereum.  Huh

I do like that idea, something special with a very small market. Not something useless that makes the creator very rich.

A nice demonstration of its power: https://ethereumpyramid.com/ Smiley

I've read all sorts of futuristic made-up possible uses, but none of them has been implemented. For something with 1 billion dollar market capitalization that is a bit disappointing to say the least.

Wrong.

We did NEED the internet.. it was created by the US military for data communication,
then people realized yes.. it is in fact an upgrade on traditional methods of communication
such as telephone & snail mail.

your veiled attempt at defending ETH failed miserably.. i just owned your fucking ass hard Wink

And the guy quoted originally is 100% correct.

yes, it's cloud storage, Ponzeeeee will be a very good and competitive altcoin and maybe can compete bitcoin soon, but today Ponzeeeee price going down, someone can tell me that tomorow Ponzeeeee price will rise again?

..you answered your own question LOL

And no it won't ever beat Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a currency and Ethereum is not.

and asking about today's price proves it too.. none of you use it or care about it.. you want profit lambo's !
so go out and find another digital scam pyramid scheme token to drain of money.

gonna trade ? ..learn how it works then.

Not really .. bad example your driving at.
you retort would have had better leverage had you pushed the angle at feature absorption
since as far as i am aware i don't think Bitcoin absorbed any Altcoin feature yet.
But there is plenty of consensus on BTC.. it's a majority vote and we all DID agree something had to change.

Your veiled attempt at defending ETH failed miserably.. you have been pwned hard !

EDIT:
by the way one is an open source decentralized crypto-currency and the other is NOT !
So uhh comparison fail LOL

Really Huh Smiley)

Increasing block size takes one line of code (http://gavinandresen.ninja/a-guided-tour-of-the-2mb-fork). Change one line and BTC will scale. I've tested it. It works.

For over 10 months the devs and community can't agree about changing one fucking line of code, because "it's not that easy", but wait....

"everything you can do on other altcoin, it can always be done on bitcoin"

Right now Bitcoin project is frozen. It's a question 2-3 months for tons of transactions to be delayed even if they pay the default 0.0001 BTC.

In my opinion it's a time bomb ticking...
