Why we took over Fedoracoin

Fedoracoin current existing issues:
1  The original dev has been gone for two years .  This coin is dying.
2  There are bugs in the two-year old wallet due to lack of maintenance.
3  The network is broken with many strange transactions (very high transaction fee).
4  The hashing power is controlled by only 1 user who is mining 99% the existing coins everyday.
5  There’s no official website or explorer.
6  The total supply is too large (500 billion). The investors can't benefit from this.

New dev team plan:
1  Will do the coin swap, all the left coin will be burned
2  New wallet , 1% pow and 1% pos , sha256 algorithm to protect the network
3  Mobile App wallet in one month
4  Switch to Ethereum-clone wallet in the near future
5  Official Blockchain explorer and pools
6  Push it to more exchanges(like bittrex and more..)
7  Release a Smart contract platform in the new future (cheap gas..)

BTER is one of the oldest and most reliable  exchanges in existence. They have even survived some very large hacks and have always returned, they have improved security over time as well.

the coin is dieing?

have you seen network hash recently and the value of the coin?

seriously....

I'm against switching algo's

the coin is kicking ass as a scrypt coin and you want to change it?

how is switching to sha-256 going to protect it? Huh

"Premine: 500 000 000 000 TIPS for swap and giveaway" : LOL

there's nothing wrong with the old source - in fact Tips is the most reliable source code & block chain I've ever encountered. It never even hiccups. I wish all wallets were this reliable.

protectionist measures kill coins - Goldcoin: in the dumps, Naut: in the dumps - it never works, Guncoin - dieing a slow death, people who switch from Scrypt to Scrypt-n of other algo's kill coins.

Why not just create a new coin? - or do you simply want to exploit the current success of Tips?

Nothing wrong with it?

1. Abandoned for over 2 years now
2. There's many bugs in TX fees
3. No further development planned as there was no dev, it's simply a mine and dump coin.

If your interest only regards your holdings, then you can join the coin swap, we have fixed all these issues, used a much better codebase for the new wallet and will improve and develop more features into this coin, the idea is to make it a long term project.

Believe me, back in the days I liked the name of the coin immediately after it was launched and in the next few weeks I was able to mine 100-180 million coins/day with just 6 x R270x. I've ended up with more than 3 billion coins and participated in the "pump" when it was listed on Cryptsy (we were devastated in minutes) and lost 137 LTC (LTC price was more than $20) in seconds. I am extremely sorry for selling my coins that early, but that's the way it is... Smiley

LOL - I remember - I started out with two rigs with R280X's and fans blowing on them in my basement.. those days are long gone.
