How many people would you say that own 21 BTC approximately nowadays? What % you are at if you own 21 BTC?

I know it's hard to guesstimate since we can't know how many people how X addresses, but maybe there is some way to make a reasonable stimulation.

I ask this because a lot of people have this dream of owning 21 BTC as a storage of value for the very long term (10+ years). I think it's excellent advice, to own this amount on the most important network ever. I also dream to reach that amount before it's too late, so im hoping the price stays where it's at before we break ATH again.

I think big traders and big gamblers must be holding that amount of bitcoins, but the common people who are working on campaign or offering services would not be holding that higher amount for sure.

It is possible to know how many address has more than 21 btc. but you will not be able to know how many person because one may have his coins spread in more than one address.
I do not own that amount and for me, holding one bitcoin is good amount for my finanical situation now

The entry point is already high enough for like 99% of people out there... I mean ask if someone you know would be willing to put near 10k in Bitcoin.
Even if they had a decent amount of money, they would be reticent because they would not know what Bitcoin is, maybe they have heard it a couple of time in some lame headlines. Thats why anyone holding 21 BTC is such a pioneer.

I also think gamblers and traders have this much amount of bitcoin or even more.
Pioneers in bitcoin would also have these kind of amount,chinese miners also have these amount.

There are people who own such amount fear earned or scammed from people. Don't think I will ever reach that amount.

Like I said before, I don't think many people own 21 BTC... in the grand scheme of things, most people don't own ANY Bitcoin, let alone 1 BTC, let alone 21. I think 21 BTC is already elite status in the long term, as the price raises and the entry point becomes more and more prohibitive.

Why the number 21 thought? And 21 BTC is approximately 8000 usd which is not exactly very rare

21 Bitcoins is a desirable amount because of the 21 million Bitcoins that will be issued? To be honest I am seeing people who gamble 20-30 btc a bet on Bitcoin sportsbooks and Dice sites so this elite status is nothing more than people with cash buying Bitcoins to hold or dispose of.

And 21 Bitcoins at current market price is approx. $8505 which in a first world country with a good salary and a normal full-time job can be earned in 1-2 months worth of work. It's another story if you are trying to earn the same amount here with the pittance which the sig campaigns are offering to you.

yes i remember a % in this forum showed long time ago, i cna not find it right now, and the majority were holding less than 1 btc and a very tiny % 21 btc

Why 21 btc and not 10 btc?!?!

I think it's not a large sum (for EU/USA/AUS/JPY) is a normal sum of money...

It's pretty hard to measure people, but you can see how many addresses own a given amount of Bitcoin. Currently, less than 0.09% of used addresses in the network have 21 BTC

The number 21 is special because only 21 million Bitcoins will be ever issued so most people would like to own at least 0.00001% of the total amount of Bitcoins that will exist in the World. That will happen by 2110 +/1 a decade or 2 so we will be dead already but our kids or grandkids may be multi billionairs  

Or perhaps Bitcoin will be dead till then and replaced by a better currency altogether. Or the World could be invaded and destroyed by aliens. Or a 3rd World war could have destroyed our planet after a  massive nuclear strike. Or we may be living on Mars because our planet is dying.

Yeah and remember many of us have multiple addresses. I for example. got 30 BTC but it is spread around 6 addresses at several palces.
Exchanges, wallets etc. But 21 BTC is around 4500 USD i don't think many hold so much money.
