Hello Mr Troll.  Thank your for using our bitcoin support service system.  Our representatives have just dispatched one of our technical support gremlins to your address 19mWPgy6WBA8JzKjTYe5T3mSpz92Lczk6W.  He will arrive momentarily.  Be warned...he will eat anything.  Just remember that gremlins should not eat before midnight.  Or was that after midnight?

Well, after reading your message I immediately phoned my friend at one of the top ISPs in the country. They agreed to point their routing tables to your address - so your connection may overheat a bit, but that is okay. The glowing orange wire in your broadband modem is just sterilizing all the ones and zeros, and killing all the viruses.

I also called the police to make sure they knew you would appreciate any spare change they found, while frisking criminals and such. Not being content with that, I called every major postal service in the world and had them start forwarding helpful bulk mail to you. This should enable you to construct a fan to cool down the orange broadband wire in your home.

Please let me know if you need any more help. I accept payment via my address below.

Oh, well that is good you came through with what you really wanted to say.

I suggest making sure you have port 8333 forwarded via your router to your internal network address, it speeds up things a bit.

Also, try adding some fallback nodes: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Fallback_Nodes

I know this because Tyler knows this.

Never mind the crass bullies. Tell me the model of your router and I'll assist.

Update: Looks like he removed the insult, which is really how it should've been in the first place. Glad you got helped.

a westell A90-750045-07

google:

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+do+i+forward+a+port+a+westell+A90-750045-07

yields:

"The Default Firewalling Guide for the Westell A90-750045-07"

which contains:

Quote
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser. If you do not know your routers internal IP address please read our How To Find Your Routers IP Address guide.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default the username is admin, and the password is password. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.

Please visit our Default Router Passwords page if the username and password shown above did not work for you.

Click the Firewall Settings button near the top of the page.

Put a dot into the No Security (None) radio button.
When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

with pictures!

You're Welcome.  I derive great pleasure from teaching Noobs how to use google everyday!
