sold out

Like many others I still own some FPGA
26  units all of them latest batch and running 380MHash bitstream.
That makes 10.200ghash. Super stable. But this race requires faster running shoes, I chose ASICS.

Have one of these and in the future(almost now, NOW) you can trade-in for Avalon
as stated in the following topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=139704.0

Im asking 12 BTC each.

In the past, two forum users bought three of these boards from me. Maybe they will stand up in this topic confirming the good shipping and smooth transaction.

What Im doing here is gathering more costumers to buy ASIC . Ill have a good conversation with everyone interested.

So, those who want to buy Avalon come and talk to me in private. Im waiting you.

also avaiable: a 703n wifi router from TPlink, three 13-port hubs, two 650w PSU.

12BTC each good luck  with that 380MHash is that for the entire unit or per card
12BTC = 240USD. They're worth 300USD towards a trade in of a 2nd batch Avalon. Can you see why people would buy these?

Tips? 1crazy8pMqgwJ7tX7ZPZmyPwFbc6xZKM9

I am not native speaker but:

http://launch.avalon-asics.com/?page_id=778

Trade-Ins - Avalon will continue to honor our old customers providing trade-in programs of old generations units, FPGA, and in the future for first generation ASIC modules. The Trade-In Orders are not part of the 600 unit limitation existing in Batch #2.

Probably they are not taking them for batch 2 or or each one of us shall get refund sometime later. I have asked for clarification, but no one respond Huh

Please help the Led Boy aka Bicknellski to make us a nice Christmas led tree and pay WASP membership fee here:

I am not native and got confused at that too. I just want to GET CREDIT.

maybe its 600+tradeins

but, anyone will try to place an early order.

I dont want to pay 1500 in bitcoins plus refund of 299$ in Cash or in btc(a month later) that sounds weird

I want to pay 1200 in bitcoins, ship the board back, they confirm my order and board is a match, they ship me ASIC.

what do you think?

+1
But unfortunately i have a feeling that it is not going to work that way for batch 2 Cry

Dude,
It does not really matter where is he shipping from. All you need to negotiate the price with him, and he will sent your board directly to avalon, because he is going to sent three already as posted above
Sounds logical to me

Only way I'd even consider doing something remotely like this is thru escrow.
Once product is in my hands I'll release escrow.

Yeahh sounds reasonably.
Choice is yours dude. But it may turn out that when you as a buyer pay shipping the discount is gone. And it does not worth the effort at all

This strongly suggests that the trade-in credit is available only to people who are already Avalon customers.

Do not assume that you can buy someone else's FPGA and trade it in. ASK Avalon.

I am old costumer. But I cant afford tradein all my boards -- I am buying some AVALON myself while providing new costumers to them. (only a few)
People who otherwise wouldnt buy for 1500 have a chance to get for 1200 and be a client for future upgrades. All is profit to Avalon Asic.

Sounds reasonable to me.

I know from the BFL policy that you do not need to be the original owner, I assume that avalon are planning the same.

The trade-in is designed to alleviate fears that your new purchase will become obsolete overnight.
If they hung their FPGA owners up to dry then people would be skeptical about ordering ASICs beyond the first few months for fear of a second generation blowing them out of the water soon after.

You can trade in towards an upgrade or you can sell it on the second hand market where the price *should* be near to the trade in value.

I'm interested by one or two boards.

I'm not sure I understand though: do you only propose to send them back to Avalon when the trade-in is available or is it possible to get them myself right now?
