Default Trust. Cheesy

Adding on to that, it's the list of people that are on your trust list by default. You will see their trust feedback on a user (if there is one) by default, regardless it is a positive or negative rating.

A bit out of date perhaps but this should get you started. Hopefully someone has a link to some secret thread that has more info about current features (exclusions etc).

No. Only a few people can add someone to the default trust network. Anyone can add anyone else to their own trust list, but thats not the list of people that are trusted by default. Also a positive rating will not immediatly make you green, it will grow from 1 to 10 points over time (1 for each month).

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

DT is a synonym for "Drama Team"

There are two levels of Drama: DT1 and DT2

Changes to the DramaTeam1 dont happen that often, but there is more movement in the DramaTeam2. Once a member is added to DT2 you will see tons of topics popping up with their names in Meta or Reputation. People are sad they dont have been added so they scream the newly added member should be kicked out. As this wont work most of the time, sockpuppets crying bitches scammer members start to PM the DramaTeam1 members that have DramaTeam2 members in their so called down list. This causes PM Inboxes to explode. Rummors say we get a lot of the "502 Bad gateway" errors when a lot of DramaTeam related PMs are sent.

Once you are here for a while the idea is that you create your own list. DT is supposed to be used for newbies while they learn the ropes. Unfortunately this forum has lots of scammers on it.

DT name does not correspond essentially and almost nothing to do with trust.

Maybe not with trust in them in a monetarian way, but certainly with trust in their opinion/decissions and the feedbacks they give.

Basically if I can't trust those (or part of those) users with my money.. .. then I can't 100% trust their decision and feedbacks.

Just an opinion.... but maybe I'm wrong.

I remember that someone of the staff member told that default trust was not the appropriate name and it should be changed.

It's not so much about 100% trusting "their" feedback. If the trust rating is factual, with a proper reference (i.e. verifiable) you just need to decide if you agree with "their" reasoning and if the presented facts merit the big red warning.

I probably wouldn't trust 80% of my trust network with any non-dust amounts of money since I have no good way to determine what's their threshold for scamming. But I'm fine with the trust ratings they're posting thus they're in my trust network.

You do need to trust those in your trust network to a certain extent. Those who are in your trust network can also give positive ratings which will increase the trust score of others. There are a lot of trades that happen without a thread ever being created, so the plausibility of a positive rating without a reference is very high. If someone were to stay under the radar, not many people will notice when someone starts giving positive ratings when they might not be appropriate.

One example is master-P, as he generally did not piss anyone off, so people were not scrietizing his trust ratings, and he was able to give positive ratings to a number of his alts.
