Don't even try to start find good cloud mining now. Not before halving will hit us. Whole mining market could be totally changed by that event.
It is hard to say now , if mining - especially its cloud version will be profitable, or even possible with block reward halved.
yeah you right also there's no legit cloud mining site right now and i think its better to hold bitcoins and wait for halving to make a profit than investing it or buy high hash rate in any cloud mining site they are turn into scam.. and its not safe to invest our money in any investment site..
Uhm...i wonder, guys, what you expect from a "legit" cloud mining (better to say i know EXACTLY how to spot a legit cloud mining  Grin). Isnt Hashnest "legit"?
We can argue about profitability how long you want yes, but i think sometimes we need to be unpartial and give the right credit: hashnest IS legit, BW is legit too. Prolly there are others like genesis but no exit strategies there.

Legitimacy of owning a mining firm does not guarantee profitability.

If there's a legitimate cloud mining its still not profitable and they are always say that mining is not profit even you buy more hashrate..
So better to stay away in any cloud mining or buy your own asic hardware miner.. so that you are far in any scammers out there..

Hello. I’m a total novice in cryptocurrency world. I have an experience of mining bitcoins on my home computer however I understood that it was a waste of time and electricity.

Now I would like to try mine some coins at a cloud mining service. Can you tell me some reliable services? Because I read about a lot of fraud services so I’m a bit worried.

Thanks  Smiley
my advice is just like other said you are better stay away from cloud mining sites because most of them are not real cloud mining sites and i saw that many people has invested at cloud mining was never can ROI because most of them are scam and vanished from this world

Legitimacy of owning a mining firm does not guarantee profitability.

Well at least a legitimate mining company is legitimately mining, unlike that scamming ponzi piece of shit you are whoring around in your signature so desperately these days, GG.

Post more, post everywhere, anywhere! That appears to be your recent tactic to sucker in newbie victims.

WARNING!!! Check your forum URLs carefully and avoid links to phishing sites like 'thebitcointalk' 'bitcointalk.to' and 'BitcointaLLk'

Well there are no good cloud mining sites and most of them that seems profitable comes out to be scam.I would better recommend you to buy hashrates from online hash power providers (mining rig rentals or nicehash) and direct it to pool you like to mine. Most of scammers use "cloud mining" so as to hide their shady intentions behind their cloud mining services.

Yes and they look legitimate as long as there are new investor to pay the first investors, a newbie wont see that its ponzi until they got scammed.

The only one i would recommend if you really want to try it, is hashnest. Backed from one of the largest pools (antpool), hardware builders (antminer) and you have an exit if you need yoru money back: hashnest marketplace.
Actually it only worths using S7 hash, as of TODAY (caps intended because tomorrow it may change) i getting a 10% monthly of principal. Profit/maintennance is about 45% so for each mined bitcoin i get 0.65.

So what will be the ROI? 10 months?

Something less than 10 months, yes. Actually with S7 hashnest (4.8Th/s) maintenance/electricity is 45,99% of mined and each machine is giving me back about 60 dollars/mo.
Situation changes tho, besides difficulty and all known issues, there is the pool luck: on blocks with very bad luck you can go negative.

There is always option to trade, and it is the best way to increase earnings / speedup return. But to do this properly, you have to watch price movements almost 24/7.

Right! I forgot to mention it: hash market over hashnest gives you an exit strategy. Very very important!

Because of that escape option hashnet is looking good. Do not need to wait all your roi time. It is good

Cloud mining will only be profitable if you have many referrals that also investing. For me, as a cloud miner, I do have some profits received from them but I cannot give an assurance if how long will they give profits to members as most of them or all of them rather will end up scam. For now I suggest you to use hashocean and genesis-mining and also invite more referrals to invest here. Happy earning my friend.

You cannot give a blanket statement like this.  Some sites like hashnest difficulty, fees, ect are going to be the big factors on cloud mining you buy if you get profit. I would not get mining and referral games confused.

Sadly so many cloud mining sites are pure ponzi scams they need new people to buy in.  They offer referrals so people come on sites like this and try to make a crappy scam sound good.  If someone say's X site is the best cloud miner! Here use my referral normally they are not good source of info.

But seriously hashnest... or I would not touch the site right now.  And still I'm more for buying hardware and having it hosted somewhere. Most in beginner forum are people with referral spam on cloud sites, they target this part of forum on purpose.

there are no profitable cloud mining site todays, only 1 legit cloud mining site is hashnest, but to get ROI is too hard.

there are only ponzi scheme sites, where you can get good profit, but be careful, soon or later all ponzi scam will become scam

now investing in could mining is not worth because halving already closer and many site collapse before you take a profit even you can take a profit or ROI it will take long time to get your money back

I have some hash power at Hashflare and things have been going as expected. Payouts work just fine and all.  Sha and scrypt. They seem legit so far. Since Dec. 24th  of 2015.

I spent 116$ and have received 30$ usd.

I even payed with a credit card just to test and worked just fine.

I split it between sha and scrypt...wish I had gone all scrypt as it's paying out 30% more than sha at the moment.

41829    SHA-256 hashrate    0.15 TH/s    58.13   USD    Universepay transfer    24.12.15 02:36    Processed
41829    Scrypt hashrate            8 MH/s    58.12   USD        Universepay transfer    24.12.15 02:36

I've received these payouts:
58305    03.04.16 01:00    0.0237525    Awaiting confirmation
46938    27.02.16 21:20    0.02293067    Confirmed    527374e2638df7515ae6ac8ac858a75b177fede140242d4d7c4da13d5d1da76e
36989    22.01.16 07:22    0.02369385    Confirmed    42bc2c248b79710f698bf11959be024a8b06e9b20ef9ae1648ca1e83356f067c

I have withdraw at about 10 usd every time. The next payout is soon, as I'm at about to receive it probably tomorrow.

Don't invest in sha right now though, as it's not gonna be worth it. Scrypt is questionable due to ethereum going pos soon.

Life time contract as long as it's profitable...who knows what's to come.  Hashflare is legit though.

The only legit one is without a doubt Hashnest, backed by an important company like Antminer. Best of all if you are good at trading and you are a lot of time in front of your PC you can win a bit by trading your GHS, last is you can exit anytime you like if you are not feeling good anymore regarding your mining, by selling your GHS. All other cloud mining are just ponzis and some of them already showing signs of near collapse.

The only one I have ever signed up to is Genesis Mining, but a ROI is not something that will come quickly if at all, it will take a good 12 months to see a return and then it isn't going to be huge, nowadays cloud mining is not something that you should really be getting into especially when the reward halves.

There are a lot and I mean a lot of supposed cloud mining sites that pop up and are scams and you will never see your bitcoin again so make sure and do some research on the company before you invest anything.

That's why I never invest if there is no contract - exit option.

It is obvious that something like "Life time contract" does not exist due to the increasing difficulty.

Well there is BW too: they claim to serve 8% of international mining hardware+they are a reliable pool+they have an open GHS market (good to trade or as an exit for your principal).
Actually im using hashnest too but im looking closer to BW.

if you ever think about investing in cloud mining services i suggest you to first look at the history of all the cloudmininig services that has been active in the past few years. then you can realize on your own that they are not only not-profitable but also they have an expiration date which means they will run away on that date.
