The above block explorer has pretty much run off the rails during the fork. I have notified testbug and hope he can reindex it soon.
The other block explorer at cryptoid seems to work ok.

Bter need 40 000 confirmations for TIPS deposit WTF Huh

Crypto-currencies are credited within 1 minute after accessing this page or "My funds" page and only after 40000 confirmations of the transaction in the network.

All my coins Pending, wrote Ticket to Support yesterday but still no answer !!

and just received an email from Bter support and they are not joking with 40 000 confirmations !!!
They answer:

"Sorry, the tips network doesn't stable enough. More confirmations are needed
Thank you for your patienec"

Can Dev team do something here Huh
We will wait 40 000 confirmations now ?? really ??

I find it somewhat crazy confirmation time, its like Bter don't really want user withdrawing funds from their exchange.

it's normal that they want to protect themselves but this issue Dev has to manage with Bter
or maybe is in someones interest that miners can not sell/dump their coins there

I suppose Bter is running on fractional reserve for TIPS. They are having less TIPS in their pockets than all account credits show, due to the fork. Bad thing is, that Bter is the only TIPS exchange with relevant volume.

When I checked yesterday, BTER had 20000 confirmations needed for deposit, today it's 40000, let's see what they come up with for tomorrow   Huh

I can understand that an exchange wants to protect itself from loss due to orphanized coins that were already credited to a balance, however 40000 is much confirmation for such deposit... Something between 250 and 1000 would do fine IMO.

Re: BTER TIPS withdrawals: AFAIK they are still disabled, while there is now no more message regarding an upcoming swap I just get a white page when trying to withdraw TIPS. Was somebody able to withdraw TIPS from BTER within the last say 4-5 weeks?

I have created a ticket at Cryptopia to find out when they plan to re-enable the TIPS wallet and will update here when I know more.

Cryptopia TIPS wallet is in maintenance. Your deposit should be there once the wallet comes out of maintenance.
I contacted Cryptopia yesterday for an ETA of re-enabling the TIPS wallet, but they were unable to give an estimate.

The original dev (invisibel) has gone long time ago and is not available anymore, testbug and teillagory tried to reach out to him without success.

IMHO, nobody can force bter to change their mind on TIPS confirmations, except maybe enough users of their exchange complaining loud and long enough.

ok maybe that too, not bad idea, but Dev Team can compare current network with Bter, make some deal that will not be some change in near future and that's it, they afraid they will lose coins in some next fork, so Dev has to clear out this issue with Bter and if Bter lose any TIPS how will Dev compensate that lost, as Bter says:

Sorry, the blockchain is not stable for TIPS, and more confirmations are required for TIPS deposit transition transaction.

Your transaction will show when there are enough confirmations.

Thank you for your patience

...as I understand, everything works fine now !! that's what Bter has to know, that Fork is over and every pool and every exchange is on the same fork

A quick update regarding exchanges:

BTER: I have created a support ticket suggesting to lower the needed confirmations significantly to something that still makes sure deposits are not in danger of being orphaned. No reply after 2 days yet.

Cryptopia: Deposits and withdraws are working fine as of now. 6 confirmations needed.

Alcurex: Seems to have worked fine all the time but I haven't tested it.

the BE on www.fedoracoin.xyz:3001 is currently resyncing all transactions. I also deleted the block database because it seems, that there is no other way to have it back on the normal state.
