FedoraCoin (TIPS)
CoinExchange Swap

from calendar: https://tothemoon.live/?IsPast=False&Page=2&Month=0&Year=0&SortBy=0

And the coinexchange TIPS wallet is in maintenance since >10days (though they promised to open it for deposit in time for the swap, time gets tight).
Also we still have no clear answer as to what will happen to the swapped TIPS which seems to accumulate in one or more adresses.

Hi PD,

Yes we've been on the case of Coinexchange as to deposits. They have promised to action it asap. They closed them initially when the Tips network was behaving poorly and the explorer was offline, due to concerns that they expressed.

As to the swapped tips we have been clear on that since the beginning - we will be destroying them. That has always been the case and remains so.  Grin

Hi robots,

Thanks, after a long wait the wallet got out of maintenance today, it seems your pushing helped there.

Actually the BE had only been down for a few hours when they first put the wallet in maintenance end of march. At this time there was a temporary disagreement on the network and iquidus stopped indexing until the wallet had been restarted. Since then BE has been online and active as I keep an eye on it in the run to the swap.

Looking forward for the burn address, will label it in BE as soon as you post it.

Cheers  - psycodad

New ANN for Fedora Gold!

Hi folks,

Reminder that we have launched the ANN for Fedora Gold - find it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5137508.msg50828201#msg50828201

For now we will post to there and here, but eventually FED coin discussion will be only at the new ANN

Cheers

TIPS swapped to FED and is discussed here now (for anyone who missed it since CMC's link still takes them here to the TIPS discussion): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5137508.msg50828201#msg50828201

So does that mean that the swap has occured and that the TIPS I have cannot be swapped?

According to their website "Altilly provides a manual swap feature for any holders wishing to exchange".

Thanks.  So is GATE.io exchange for TIPS or for FED?  Both coinmarketcap and gate.io list it as TIPS.

Hi Ride22,

Gate continues trading Tips, however the Tips chain is not performing well as it's at end of chain. The Fedora project team is therefore focusing on FED Gold. You can still swap at Altilly (as mentioned above) and also direct with the team if you prefer.

FED coin is live and trading on two exchanges - Coinexchange and Altilly.  Several different pairs are available but the main ones seem to be BTC:

https://altilly.com/market/FED_BTC
https://www.coinexchange.io/market/FED/BTC

Cheers!
