If I got a Radeon, I could get 200Mh/s without even overclocking. That's the average for a Radeon. I have no Radeons. Well, that's the brand. There's Nvidia, Radeon, and Ati.

Ahaha! Thanks for that link. I needed a good laugh.  Grin

Sad part is, if he would have just purchased BTC instead of buying 6 monitors and everything else, he would have made much more of a profit than he will ever see now.

I'm guessing 15 years old

Probably. I'm amazed how many people my age are so stupid.

No one does their research before jumping into something.

you think that's bad? try telling someone to stop cpu mining and they won't listen and still thinks it's ok to do...after you overwhelmed them with stats and stuff...they still just keep chugging away

oh, the stupid...it hurts

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Stupidity rules:

I started mining 2011 making 2 BTC a day, and everybody was saying GPU mining was over and I was wasting my money on electricity. They were right that making 5 bucks a day in Bitcoin was a waste, but I kept them Grin
