I used it recently to buy Bitcoin on wesellcrypto and I sold some btc to a user here who paid with PayPal. Selling on ebay is easy with it but the fees are kinda crazy.

Going to be honest: There is no reason for me to buy anything with bitcoin. I would have to exchange fiat for bitcoin, spend it, and then the merchant is just going to convert it back to fiat. It's completely unnecessary. I buy bitcoin to hold, as a store of value and as a speculative instrument.
I definitely use PayPal more often to buy things and I've found pen shops online who take it (I collect pens).
And you don't have to use escrow.
But what if the merchant don’t have access to paypal? In case if you want to buy a product from a specific merchant which is unable to get from any other merchant and you have paypal and want to pay with paypal while the merchant do not have paypal because of their country is not allowed for paypal. Then you both have to choose a currency and a payment system to which you both have access, so bitcoin is a best solution. |

I am using paypal cause it's just better than bitcoin in online shopping case. Bitcoin need to grow first and become more popular to compete paypal now.
Yeah with Paypal online shopping is way better and easier. Paypal is worldwide better know and more popular then Bitcoin. Bitcoin needs to grow a bit more if they want to compete against Paypal. |

Let's be honest, there is a small repulsion from the btc community towards btc paypal because of the refunds,... But, let's be honest a second time, Paypal is just an easy way to pay with online. But I'm having trouble finding some decent markets/sites/services that still accepts paypal.
So yea, my question: where do you guys still use paypal nowadays?
amazon.com,ebay and purse.io maybe the most popular site that used by people that have many paypal balance,but for its not good for making transaction,i just use and hold bitcoin for better and safer transaction. |

agreed. I am more compatible with bitcoin than paypal. I used paypal before when I wasn't aware of bitcoin. that time I though paypal is best but now my opinion changed. but truth is truth, paypal still being used in majority.. |

I used to use paypal only on Ebay, but now i don't shop anymore on Ebay so , bye bye Paypal  If possible I skip Ebay and go to Alibaba or Aliexpress now. It is cheaper and promotes competition. Ebay as a market leader has a terrible website, the search for example differs per country you are from. For example, if I use ebay.com I get different results searching in China than when I use ebay.de. |

although I bitcoin users but I agree with you bitcoin should be more developed. may be somewhat stable so the risk for merchant will be reduced. so they want to use the method of payment for bitcoin PayPal has a system that is great for shopping. possibly that's why many people choose paypal than bitcoin |

Big companies such as Google, Amazon or Steam don't accept paypal anymore.
People can still purchase apps and digital content on Google Play using Paypal payment method from their Google account. But only depends on the supported country and my country is not listed there lol. Same is the case with my country and hence I asked a friend to buy an app for me with his credits. @OP: PayPal is the most used payment option these days and it has its own store from where we can purchase any stuff. Bestbuy also has introduced it as a payment option. Walmart too accepts PP payments. Yes, agree with your opinion, but they have limited their products to only those countries to where paypal is limited, and whenever they felt bitcoin as reliable and wanted to spread their products to the whole world they will prefer bitcoin. |

I do the opposite, if it doesn't have Paypal I skip the site, it's a pain in the ass, if possible, to get your money back when scammed if you use anything other than Paypal. |

I was more than happy when users paypal stopped and switched to bitcoin. because bicoin better than paypal. unfortunately many paypal users that dont know about bitcoin I also tolerate when you need it urgent paypal. Sometimes I also use paypal when the site does not accept bitcoin |

Some people have stopped accepting PayPal because it takes 6 months to confirm a transaction - welcome to New Money - PayPal's SnailCoin. Yes basically this is the main paypal problem, a long way confirmed transaction different with bitcoin with only need a couple minutes. Bitcoin problem are on how many online store already accepting bitcoin? How famous the online store which accept bitcoin? . Paypal already have ebay and bitcoin? This is a big task. |

If you like to shop online at online web shops you must have a Paypal. Paying with Paypal online is just the easiest way to do it. And every online store excepts Paypal.

I use paypal anyway cause I dont want to sell my bitcoin right now.
But paypal and ebay are a bunch of thieves with their fee's and a bunch of
a-holes with their rules.
But for now Im stuck using them...

I use paypal to buy from local online shops. They are all legit though. The website's name is Lazada. They accept paypal and other modes of payment but since their shop sells almost everything you'll ever need (clothing, gadget, grocery), I use my paypal to buy on their website. They also accept payments from unverified paypal and I find that very efficient since I haven't been able to verify my paypal account just yet. |
