I have a litecoin wallet on my phone with exactly 0.00000000 ltc in it and I think even that is too much.  If litecoin was on fire at a Def Leppard concert I wouldn't take a piss on it.  Now Dash on the other hand...

How can you say litecoin is dying? Hashrate has been increasing for years and is now stable at a stable price. It shows all the signs of being alive.

Yes, development is not like most hype altcoins, but that is because litecoin is working. It doesn't need fix after fix to prevent major problems, it just works.

I agree with TS that you might want to hold some of them, just in case.

Well I don't believe Litecoin will be on fire, not at all, yes it has a stable price of 0.007 BTC but only that, don't know what to do with it other than trading. Bitcoin is so far ahead of all the alts competing with it, as its used widely. Well its good that some gambling sites have starting accepting LTC as form of payment. Maybe this is good for it, but still I don't think it will be on fire any time soon.

What makes you say that OP?

We foresee a rise in Bitcoin because of the halving. Usually Litecoin rises when Bitcoin rises, mostly because factors that cause the rise are similar for both coins. Since  this anticipated rise will be because of the Bitcoin halving, I can't see it effecting Litecoin all that much.

Since you said bull market both btc and ltc, I want to know which one will rise more. I mean if I have fist today, should I buy btc or ltc, which one will make more percentage wise?

If the total money flow into crypto currency is limited, then the litecoin will not rise too much as it is just a clone.

In 2013, when Litecoin was barely known, it increased from like $0.10 to $48. It increased I believe 10 times more than Bitcoin, despite the fact that most money went into BTC.

LTC is tied to BTC. When BTC goes up, LTC will follow, and will usually increase much more in percentages for the simple fact that it is cheaper, and, indeed, the most similar coin to BTC. So LTC's ''Silver to Bitcoin Gold'' is actually a good thing; it doesn't need gimmicks / features like IPO/scam coins like Ether!

Okay I admit ltc actually works. It has been used by many sites and tested in real world applications. But I don't see any reason why it will outperform btc.
