It is pretty much how you describe a gambling addict. You can also add to the symptoms, if you get restless if you did not gamble for a while. It is like something inside you urging you to go and gamble. You can't control yourself. When you can't resist anymore, then it's confirmed, you're an addict.

Yup! the urging inside in you that wants to go all out in playing gambling I think that most of the addicted person wants to do is to always play at their hearts content, but that is wrong because gambling can cause them a lot if they get all out with gambling.

People have lot of work but then also they make time and play gambling is called Gambling addiction. Because those who play gambling just for fun they will not do daily when they get time that time they will play and is they loss betting they will not continue that day but those are very busy in there daily work then also they make time and do betting means they are addicted i saw many people like this they don't get time to have there food but they will do betting it is called high addictive game.

You are partly right but I think its not good to have new preoccupations because you will most likely also have a lot of stress because of it.
I think the best thing you can do is searching for something else you really like to do in your spare time.

Try a more healthy lifestyle to stay away from gambling. Go to gym and do some research of a more productive investment to gain more coins. Try to do tradings instead of gambling.

Going to gym and similar kind of activities will not help when you are frustrated and may lead you to gamble again, these things just sounds good but hardly every work in rel life. Basically do a proper treatment for this addiction.

Your lifestyle is the one that will mainly change if you get addicted to gambling. If you find yourself selling stuffs from your house just to go to casino, then surely you are a gambling addict.

Although gambling addiction is often lead by the peer pressure created from the social life in your casino. If you've got friends that are always in the casino, you'll of course find yourself becoming one of them.

we know that most of the times we lost on gambling, but instead of stopping we keep on playing for the next day

after we lost, we got frustrated but we still back to play, is this called "gamble addiction"?
Yes you are actually addicted because you look to play after you loose. Do you also feel that you must arrange money from anywhere and just gamble ?

Tha greediness is the main reason of addiction. If people already know how to be contented then they would stop if they hit there target already. Gambling is a mind game that requires intelligence a little luck, emotions must be set aside while playing to have a sound decision making in order to stay in the game.

Well all of what you said is probably right and that is really is gambling it really requires intelligence and luck and emotions are not really required in this kind of game because it can cause you a lot, because probability that may cause this losing is your emotional state if you feel frustrated and angry you will decide in going all out then the timing is not right that will probably a worst case in your career in gambling.
Many people will get addicted to gamble and that is because the value is not high enough and they want to build up their coin so they are trading and gambling.
Many people think that you can earn a lot of money with it but that is actually not true because the chance of losing is much higher.

I am thinking the other way around that when the people are getting addicted if the value are higher, because it not make sense if the value is lower, but in some other though if the person is really addicted to gambling even if the value is smaller they would still love on playing gambling.

Well if you think about it, the addiction context in gambling is the high and adrenaline of earning big from staking your money, from taking a chance. If you lose a bet, the idea would be stake twice the amount you just lost so you can win back what you just lost. That is the most dangerous context of gambling.

I'm not sure how off-ward this thread has gone to (eight pages), I am just here to express my opinion on your first question.

I do think that this is call additive gambling. Not only that, I personally think that people who gamble actively (even though they win) fall into this category too. If one visit a casino (be it online or offline) just once or twice a month, that would be consider higher than average. Someone who visit everyday, a 100% gambling addicted person.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

If a person visits the casino everyday, don't you think it's just a hobby? Smiley

Pretty sure 'addict' means a different thing. Being an addict means you are obsessed at something and you can't stop doing it.

Yes, it's a gambling addiction. if you're addicted to gambling, you would go back to gamble, even if you've lost a lot in a game of chance, such as dice.

yup! your right there are a lot out there who's presumably doing so to take back what they have lost but I think that is a bad thing to do because you would never know if your gonna win the time you double your bet, what if the bet that you have double has loss too then your gonna put another double again and I think that will be suicide!

Compulsive gambling, that is. Whether you know that the chance of losing is higher compared to winning, you simply can resist the urge to gamble because the hopes of you winning big is always there each time you play. Sadly, there are a lot of people who can't control their gambling habits and resort to such behavior in hopes of winning the jackpot.

Do you know people who often visit casino often looses much than casual players and when they next time visit the casino they are in intention of getting back lost money and again they lose more.

well I think that unless you risk everything you got for gambling, it isn't considered addictive to gamble. You are just simply frustrated that you keep losing. It's just your basic instinct wanting to win I think Grin Just play for entertaining will usually make you win Grin At least that's my personal experience with gambling
