we know that most of the times we lost on gambling, but instead of stopping we keep on playing for the next day

after we lost, we got frustrated but we still back to play, is this called "gamble addiction"?

What you are describing is indeed a clear symphony of addiction, in fact it has a particular name called "revenge" where you want to take revenge against your odds. For example you are a trader and you are mad at you losing money, and you want to revenge against the market and stop doing stupid trades to get rid of that feeling of being a loser, same for good ol casino gambles.

Got frustrated after lost is why casinos earn so much money. If you think a bit more about it you will see that people expect to win and when they lose they are frustrated.
To be good in gambling you need to know how to win and how to lose, to not give feelings interrupt your game.

Yeah, this is what we called as “addiction in gambling”, they hold in their mind that a time can come when he/she will earn a double or more amount of his/her investment and for that he play again and again, as he has saw someone in earning there, and don’t know that for that one win how much has he lost.

Yes i think it is addiction if you lose and keep on gambling everyday without skipping, it would keep on happening until you decide to stop gambling.

Well i think for me yes because is just repeatedly and always come in gambling which is they don't understand that gambling is just for entertaining and gambling is not for living or making money fast... you should think first  that gambling is for entertaining and don't expect to win it easily.. think first and you will realize that. its just an effect of gambling and turn into addiction.

Only a problem if you can not afford to lose the funds, effects day to day life or effects those around you. There has to be a pattern of gambling and a need to keep at it.

Ignorance is a bliss. but for some people it is a costly bliss.
But lets be honest if you are an adult and can't handle your money expenditure then you shouldn't have had the money in the first place right?

I would agree to what you said, since because they want to chase their losses, they aren't gambling for entertainment anymore, but rather to try and make money which is bad and will usually lead you to losing more.

It not only for chasing loses but even after winning money people won't stop gambling because after winning they think that they got the strategy to win money and will continue until they lose all there money to realize it. But gambling is not for making profits but it is for fun and entertainment so just use this tool properly otherwise it can bring you very big loses.

No, not yet, but you are almost there... a little bit more of desperate move to have a revenge on all your losses then you will get addicted.. if you continue to pursue on that dream of gaining back and never satisfied with any result, then you will...

Is more like a mental illness that in the end, results to addictive behaviors from going back even though the results are pure losses. Psychotherapy and group therapy is the key to solving these types of illnesses or disorders (speaking from experience). I went down that road when I was way younger and almost end up selling most of my belongings just so I could go back the next day and gamble again but eventually I learned how to react with such scenarios.

Yeah, that's an addiction which we need to stop at an early stage, else we can lose everything in gambling...
It is such a thing which makes us more and more greedy towards making more money, and as we lose more, we try to recover it and lose even more than that, but that's not a good thing at all...
A good control is needed as to either when you reach your goal or you lose your set amount where you have decided to stop, you should stop...

whenever the person is feeling that he has lost control over the decisions that he is making in life then that is addiction in my opinion.
because that means you are not being controlled with your mind and what is driving you now is no more logical.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Why gambling must be called illness? This can be business if you are know what are you doing. Illness as result have devastation of person which in not case if you win in game. So is only question what game do you play and whats are your chances everything else is mathematics and luck.

Playing chess can become addiction. And can be hazardous if you play for money.

There are really two symptoms of which I can think could signal you that you are starting to get addicted:

1. When you are playing and can't manage to stop on your own, unless you lost all your money.
From my experience even if you win 2x your bankroll it is sometimes not enough to satisfy your greed.

2. If you are staring to thing about gambling during your your normal workday. And these thought are so cumbersome that in the end you give up and fell for it.

Yeah you right. Especially if we go gambling again to win back your losses, but it makes you loss more than before. It will make you become addictive to gamble and can't stop.

Yes completely these are the signs of addicted gambler. I can remember one day in past, i played head and tail for whole day and night (almost 20 hour) as i was winning a lot at first and keep lossing when trying to figure out the pattern of the results.

I was quite stupid to find pattern in gambling.  Roll Eyes

Gambling is addiction only when you lost control over your life and time. But this is only case if you are weak,
if you are not good character. But then you are fertile ground for many others hazardous habits

A lot of people are addicted to gamble but can control their addiction because it's not as harsh as some other peoples simply due genetics. If you are genetically prone to have severe addiction then you can't control it and there's not much you can do but get locked in some mental institution and get feed up some sort of pills. I don't think there is free will to choose when you have super strong addiction genetics, luckily i don't.

It depends on how much money you spend? If you came back and place a large sum after a loss and after another loss another larger sum (losing it all) and doing like this everyday its definitely an addiction to it.

Why does this happen? People don't tend to think thoroughly , they keep playing slots, dice, blackjack and a few other games with a lot of chances to lose it all. Meanwhile in sportsbook there are some person who make money consistently during every month in the long run.

What they do that they win? They keep reading and studying at least 2-4 hours reading all the betting news on the event they are thinking to bet, statistics which player is injured, referee, club news and everything. These are the real winners, but you cannot find anyone here unfortunately.

I am trying to emulate them and so far during 2 months of my free tips here have made 33 WINS and 14 LOSSES. Since yesterday my tips have become with payment though. Anyway pretty much I have given to you a very detailed explanation for how to quit from gambling addiction, to gambling investment.

not completely but it can be the definition of a gambler addict.
it depends on a couple of factors. for example if they come back everyday and lose again in the next day and the amount they lose is also big for them and they don't or can not stop this routine then yest it is an addiction to gambling.
