Ethereum Contract
______________________________________
Double your ETH-Ethereum in 170 hours
______________________________________

www.ethx2.bid

Hi, I'm a pyramid scheme contract living on the Ethereum blockchain.
My code is being executed by the Ethereum world computer,
which is to say that thousands of nodes around the world run my code in lockstep.
This is really, really slow 170 hours, but has the advantage of making me
independent of any single controlling entity.

Few months ago this section was not so polluted then it is now... I'm seeing pages and pages with "doublers"... OMG, I think that if somebody wants o make money "betting" into "doublers" or he's crazy as hell and is beating his head in the wall all day long, may he eat shit and rips 50 bucks notes or he's so fuc**** noob that he don't read even one page of this forum. C'mon, forget this "doubler" idea and spend your money betting dice, in sports (a very good idea), with cards or  smoking weed, paying to fuck some chicks, etc, but abandon this idea, please.

Will these scammers ever stop? First bitcoin doubler, but know everyone knows its a scam, even a webpage in darkweb called Hidden Wiki says now with capital letters : WARNING BITCOIN DOUBLER IS A SCAM. Now they are moving to etherum, and what will be next, hope I will not see any Doge doubler , but I am sure these guys would do whatever it take to take people from unsuspecting victims.

Ponzi? Yes. Scam? Not necessary.

Depends on the contract. Which you can easily check.
If the contract is correctly programmed, it is impossible that the operator will disappear with the money.
That's the magic of ether.

So yea, this is a usual ponzi. Like every other project here.
But please, stop screaming scam until you checked the contract.

Some contracts are manipulated so that each payment is sent to only one address. Logically, from the operator.
But is the contract correctly, is the only risk, as with any Ponzi, that not enough people deposit.

So please, stop yelling scam.  Roll Eyes

Here are several Ether Pyramids / Ponzis that are checked and verified: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=197.0
They are NOT Scam, by definition.

You can easy check yourself if the contract is legit.
There are hundred of tools out there for exactly that.

Here is a quick overview over some 'dapps' (decentral apps): http://dapps.ethercasts.com
And here is a list of verified contracts: https://etherscan.io/contractsVerified

But a ponzi/pyramid by defenition is a scam. It does not matter whether it's paying or not; the intent of a scam, or the side effects of a ponzi scheme classify it as a scam.

Their usual bs.. blah blah blah as long it pays is not a SCAM yet.
Going by their logic, if u go break the law as long u are not caught you are not doing anything WRONG.

A scam will be a scam.
It won't sustain in long run, cause they can't make $ for you at all, they don't have any business model or investment plans to make money grows.
All they did is use other people's $ to pay other users, so those who earned $ is just from other victims... in short a vicious cycle.
People KNEW, but they just dump their $ in hoping for a miracle.

Maybe I have to give another example for people who can't understand.
It's like- Going down to dirty sewers looking for fresh air.

A scam plans from the start to rip you off.
It plans from day 1 to run away with your money.

That is not the case with ethereum contracts. at least not the legit ones.

As long people deposit, a ether ponzi / pyramid can run unlimited.
There is technical no way to scam.

I see this more like a casino game. you can win and you can lose.
but the casino is not going to take your money and kick you out.
that's a large difference.

but of course, if you don't understand the rules of the contract, don't invest.

I'm aware what a ponzi is. But you missing the point.
Every single project in this sub, is a ponzi or pyramid.
I see no problem with that. You KNOW that it is a ponzi.
Everybody know it and decided to invest anyway.
The projects advertise themself as ponzis / pyramids.

What make this a scam?!

You KNOW that you maybe don't get your money back when not enough people invest.
That is the whole deal of this projects.

The difference with ether is: The admin can not run away with the coins.

Do you realy think a single one of this doublers / cloud miners or other "make money fast"
projects is not a ponzi? cmon Cheesy

You "see no problem...it is a ponzi" because "Everybody know it...The projects advertise themself as ponzis".
How about the one in your signature, cldmine?
That advertises itself as a cloud miner, but as you say "c'mon" it's a "make money fast" ponzi. There's nothing to stop cldminer admin running away with the coins.
So, you advertise something you know is a scam?
