I got this email by PoSwallet: (...) I'm really not a big holder, got a few, but i'd still be very upset if something happened to my ESP stash.
How is the solo stacking working? Whould i get comparably PoS rewards by stacking on my wallet?
1. The word is staking, not stacking. 2. Apparently every ESP user got this mail from POSWallet. 3. You get the same amount on average, assuming that you run your wallet for the entire time, but the payout is much less frequent. Depending on your balance, every other day up to weeks or months.

soo... anyone can help to mine on rx480 ? cant get to work, still believe it only benefits old miners..
Sorry bud, I know that there have been multiple requests like this in the past (not sure if by you or somebody else). It just seems that the current miner developers don't own such a card, so what should they do?! They can't do magic, so either you send them a card, or the required money to purchase one, along with the money for their working time. Mining is not the business of coin developers, it is the business of its users (and miners in particular). so i need to buy a old gpu to mine espers... nice. Incorrect. Newer Nvidia gpus can use CCMINER with hmq support just fine. Blame the issue on lack of development of a proper miner for the coin, not the coin itself. As gandalf said the devs for the miners would need a sample card to work on a miner so you have your options, that or wait until such a dev develops a miner for AMD RX's, buy an nvidia, or mine with cpu, difficulty isn't super high at the moment and I've read several people are cpu mining at the moment. Can someone tell me which GPU is best for mining Espers? Is it only NVIDIA at the moment? Also, for CPU mining, shall I go with Intel i7 or AMD? Call me crazy but I'm planning to buy 1 or 2 GPUs just for mining this coin its harder job to get miner for the new AMD cards, and GTX 10xx series has been doing pretty good on mining, my bet is nvidia. Nothing crazy about that Thanks for replying! I ll stick with NVIDIA I got this email by PoSwallet: (...) Minicomputer or something like that. Thanks.

Do I get POS rewards if I have my coins on Novaexchange? No, poswallet or local wallet. Also guys, poswallet is using outdated version of wallet currently, meaning your stakes are not real. If you want to get valid stakes, i suggest moving your esp to local wallet. The stakes will take some time to roll in, but eventually you will get them, its the same amount per year, poswallet just gets stakes more frequently.

Its not enough to have even 1% of pool, but i will get them from there, as i did not like to see that - Quite frightening... I wonder where does PosWallet go. Too bad - it was a great idea, but de-listing a lot of coins and send messages like that for users may be not a good idea (IMHO) Does it make any difference (in regards of staking) in depositing all at once in wallet or divided in smaller blocks?

Dito, i also didn't get that email and i have a few million there (had now). Really strange what they're doing the last weeks. Building up trust looks different for me (and trust is highly important for a service like posw).

Sure, as what we are doing is: "Look i do not know you, where you live or anything else - But please take my coins for you to stake in your pc and divide profits with me" And with that email they answer " Please, take some of your coins back or even all of them, as if anything goes wrong we don't have anything to do with it - it's at your risk!" We know there is risk everywhere - most of exchanges have something like that on their T&C, but advising people to withdraw coins from a service supposed to be to stake? Hope they don't disappoint us, and this is just bad communication, because as i said before IT is a GREAT IDEA

On NovaExchange is says: Espers (new chain) so I'm guessing that is the good one!

So what is the next development on Espers? It said that the software was in Alpha on page one of this ANN, is that still the case?
What's the big thing that the dev team plans to do for this coin in 2017?

2. Thats strange, so they don't want to staK ESP anymore? 3. Makes sense, i guess i'll need to get a cheap staking machine soon. Minicomputer or something like that.
2. The word is "to stake" stake, staking, staked. In this context it is short for proving your stake (i.e. your part of the total supply) in the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) method. 3. Yes having a small computer is very helpful, I am using an old laptop for it, but can be any other system. I had no success compiling the Espers wallet on my Raspberry Pi though. Does it make any difference (in regards of staking) in depositing all at once in wallet or divided in smaller blocks?
No. Btw. I don't think POSwallet will delist Espers, I have no idea why they are sending such a message. In general, they had to re-work their business model because the cost of staking "dead"/worthless coins were too high. thanks for u information where i can buy esp
Look at the first post of this ANN thread, a.k.a. OP = Opening Post. So what is the next development on Espers? It said that the software was in Alpha on page one of this ANN, is that still the case?

ESP is still Alpha. The end goal is being something distantly related to Ethereum, like a general framework for building distributed services, but it's still a long time to go, maybe years. You can find a fancy new picture in the OP: Roadmap

So it's in Alpha for a few years when do you think it will get out of Alpha?
The "alpha" tag is just to indicate that this is nowhere near the final version of the product. Espers is stable and can be used like any other cryptocurrency. When this will be closer to the original idea, I have no clue. I think we will see a lot of new features being added this year, so maybe CC will decide to start calling it "beta" in early 2018 or something, idk? It doesn't actually matter IMO.
