What the hell lol  If you're going to snoop, don't make it obvious you're snooping.  And then don't curse at the guy.  EU or US, everyone knows etiquette.  You don't just treat a guy like shit for no reason.

And that's not even considering the issue with privacy.  What's a private message that's not private?  May as well just drop PMs all together and use something else if everything's under someone's eye.

Finally, if you're gonna have a guy with the power to monitor messages, at least make sure he knows what he's doing.  This looks like the kind of stuff a child would pull.

All that said, I don't want anything to do with this coin.  Good luck! Grin

An admin of a forum isn't Litecoin, nor is it what it's about.

Greedi is not the lead of Litecoin. He is just someone who I chose to host the official Litecoin forum. He has been a great supporter of Litecoin. But his behavior recently has made me question whether I have misplaced my trust. I do not think a moderator has the right to snoop on private messages and he definitely has no business questioning people about private matters. And he should not delete message he doesn't like. If Greedi cannot live up to those standards, then he will be replaced.

If you are quitting a coin because of an action of a forum moderator, then why are you here? Smiley

Thanks to Someguy123 backing up the database, it doesn't have to be started from scratch. He just imported the db to his server and I pointed forum.litecoin.net to his server. Most people wouldn't even have noticed the backend change.

I am quite shocked at what greedi has done here from been a really good guy now going to resulting in all of this. I thought you where better than this greedi I really did.

Actually, all credit goes to Someguy123. While I was trying to figure out what was going on, I didn't even think of backing up the forum. I guess I was just too naive to realize that Greedi can just all of a sudden disappear and take all his servers down. The second Greedi mentioned leaving, Someguy123 immediately went to backup everything. And he barely managed to do before he lost admin access! Though Greedi did send a last message saying he wasn't trying to screw Litecoin over, but who knows what he was really thinking. I thought I knew him well too.
