I need someone to buy a game from amazon.com. My account has a $25 credit on it from a previous purchase, so I want to spend it. Trouble is, there is a special offer going on that offers the game for $60 with a $20 discount code1, but it's only available for US customers only, and I can't put in a fake address because they will ship the game to that address. So I need someone (trusted) to buy the game for me, receive it at their address, and send me the code. I will reimburse in full for the $60-$25 = $35, and maybe I'll even throw in the $20 code, seeing I probably won't have a use for it.

Trusted traders thread (although they were quite some time ago)
Azelphur (on otc), I paid him to buy a £30 game from origin in late 2012.
dont bother with otc because I lost the keyfiles.

1Your purchase has qualified you for a $20 promotional credit toward the purchase of items shipped and sold by Amazon.com (certain exclusions apply, including but not limited to Kindle books, Gift Cards, and Amazon Appstore for Android apps). You will receive a promotional code via email within two days after your order ships.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

If your account has a $25 credit on it, then wouldn't you buy it with your own account, ship it to let's say, me, and then I give you the $20 code which you then give back to me? I don't understand.

Also shouldn't this topic be moved to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

because i'll need a US credit card (billing address != shipping address makes cc company think it's fraud).

I can do this. You can search through my history and see how trusted you think I am, up to you. I'll sign something with my PGP key if you want.

So your $25 credit is transferable to other Amazon accounts by way of a code? Usually they don't let you transfer those, or buy gift cards with them. You may be able to buy some MP3s worth $25, gift them to someone, then that someone converts them into gift credit...

that seems more hassle than just having someone log into my account, and buying it.

also, found someone
