PM'd.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Why would people offer you under spot if they can get it at spot anyway?

Not to make any accusations, but I talked to OP and figured I would sell at spot + $2 per coin to make a little from depositing into MtGox. He was fine with that price, yet he has an offer $24 a coin here? Suspicious.

Gox has been all over the $20's in the past ~24 hours, so $24 could have been spot+$2 at some point.

My rate is GoxUSDask+$2 (practically the same as you), so I'm going to have to call this topic...

Maybe he made a lapse of judgment and didn't factor the time of your offer, but he posted about the $24 ea offer when the price was about to break $27 iirc.

He's attempting to scam people. He's refusing to use Escrow and he wants me to send him the money first.

Makes sense. He wanted to use a MM with me or have me send first. Either a fake MM/someone he knows or just bluffing to get people to send first. He was not professional sounding when contacting me either. Proceed with caution guys.

If a new guy refuses to use escrow, it's most probably a scam unless they agree to send first to a better repped person. There has been a ton of scamming accusations threads lately on this issue.
