The problem is the world is not ready for another world collapsing of fiat currencies. If the dollar goes down the toilet so do all the other currencies pegged to it. This means that we do need to prepare ourselves if this happens within the next 5-10 years or so. We are not ready although we do have alternatives there.

Could Bitcoin Save the USA!?

Too late for USA. California under water, Midwest on fire, New York overrun by married homosexuals.
Liberland only hope.
Liberland  Roll Eyes that pipe dream got closed down before it even started.

That is what you got when you want to create new peaceful nation within borders of bigger country. You won't last lost without army.

Bitcoin won't save any FIAT currency, it is like saying that USD can be saved by Euro or vice versa. Bitcoin is complementary currency and I don't think it could replace FIAT anytime soon.

no i said bitcoin will not become the hero for US to replacing Dollar, lets see how new yuan start to developing in china, its need good trust from civilian, they all agree and pleasure to use yuan and say no to dollar, but US can't do that to bitcoin.

for the US there can be only one hero, himself, so i doubt so much than this will happen too.
btw replace any currency is an aggressive option, maybe this will happen anytime, but my vote is to start to coexist progressively (like now, step by step..)

If the dollar goes down the toilet so do all the other currencies pegged to it.

yes, even if we like it or not, US have an high impact on what they do especially on europe.

And another threat for US dollar might come from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia wants to sell 750 billion dollar.

However, this can only punch US but can not beat it...

I think it is just nonsense, Because $ is the currency most used almost all countries around the world, then the news only issues only and is not likely to occur. And Bitcoin will be the solution to a very good means of payment and the safest, and not the solution for the replacement of the bitcoin a country but a substitute means of payment.

Yes, I agree with you.
American dollar is just to big and to important for world economy that this currency can collapse.
Look what happened with some big American banks during last big financial crisis, or with Greece recently.
They was to big and to important to fail.
Bitcoin as solution? Maybe for average people and only as second, alternative currency but in world market US Dollar will dominate world economy for a very long time.

I dont think this is enought to really collapse US Dollar hard (to tigger hyperinflation). But as history shows, it has to happen sonner or later, so thankfully here is Bitcoin now for the savvy enought to protect their wealth very easily - with gold its possible as well but harder.

Now USA should stop buying shitty Android cellphones by the millions from China and the Chinese economy will crash in 1 month lol. By the way I didn't know the US dollar is backed by nothing. Didn't they have national gold reserve or something? Or the US government has printed so many fake banknotes that the actual gold can't ever cover it any more?

China have been buying up gold for years and the dollar have been losing value for a long time now and it's not linked to gold. Just recently, some

countries wanted to inspect the gold being stored in the USA and they did not want to allow for that, because of security reasons.  Huh Huh Imagine

you are asking someone else to store gold for you, and when you want to see if it is still there, they tell you NO? I will break down the f#$% doors to

the vault. The US dollar will soon lose it's grip as a world reserve currency and Bitcoin can take a share of that.  Wink

if the collapse happens (which i don't think it will) then a lot of things will skyrocket, things like Gold, and other precious metals, and also maybe smaller than gold but it will rise up because of that.

The Dollar could collapse but how small is the chance that it will actually happen. The Dollar has been around for so long and for it to collapse now and so sudden is not happening. Bitcoin will not be the solution but it does not need to be the solution.
