The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

encrypted file?

Yes, Wallets are encrypted until launch. The pool is being made as I speak, but the block explorer might take a day or two... Unless anyone knows where to get a block explorer faster? I want to make sure all my ducks are lined up in a row before launch. Smiley

Interesting idea on a political coin.  Everything looks pretty typical, hope it gains some attention and eventually trades somewhat decent.

Mining could be dominated by asic's in the future, is there a specific reason you picked scrypt?
