I guess with the new forum there will be all new Moderators / Staff too right ? LOL

I had a suspicion something was up when This place was lagging and throwing 502's for a while.
related? who knows..

I would go test it out right now but i am scared  Cry
..i think theymos is trying to catfish me and steal my megahurtz  Shocked

And will i be able to drop my GreaseMoneky Black style (global) script ?
Hey boss man a Black styled dark theme would be SUPER popular i bet.

I dunno i may wait a while to check it out though which makes me wonder..
Is this beta going to go on for a while ? like months ?
And is there some way to know if the beta version has changed ?

EDIT:
Any new forum rules for the new site by chance ? possible ?
You can take a look at here if there are any changes made.

Life sucks.

I made a new account to access the earliest pre-beta site, but when I tried using it to log into the official beta site it said my credentials were unrecognised.
You're supposed to reset your password on the beta.

Has my other account been deleted? I didn't make any posts with it, I only used it to view the pre-beta site.
We can't tell you that at this moment. You would have to share your username with us.

Finally the most expensive web based forums is released to public. I am really happy that I can be one of the first few in history to test it. I like how SMF works with Bitcointalk and I really hope I will enjoy this million dollar forums. Smiley.

Edit: A English (or maybe not) bug! The email I receive stated "© 2014 EpochTalk".

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

Everyone keeps talking about these things, yet nobody has a clue on how one should look like nor how to build one.

Edit: A English (or maybe not) bug! The email I receive stated "© 2014 EpochTalk".
Report these things on the Beta itself in the Master Bug thread or the Github page.

I just get a white screen on my BlackBerry. Am I missing something?

Will there be a mobile version of the forum? That would be AWESOME!

Looks very nice. Good and clean too. I can't stand the way the never ending paycoin forums looked and more and more seem to work like that too with the weird page scrolling. I'm glad this one works as one should.

I've already stated that there are going to be multiple themes, and hopefully this one won't be default.

Worst 1 million dollars ever spent
It is more than a million dollars.

I'm glad this one works as one should.
It has a long way to go before it is 'working as it should' be.

That forum is completely different as it was build from scratch and the content is trying to be ported from this old SMF to it.

Sir, I know about this thing. I want to know why theymos aka admin thought to change forum software.
Was there any problem with SMF or there's something new in Epochtalk that SMF doesn't.

Well, it should be obvious. SMF, even though it is doing a decent job for outdated software, is quite bad. There are a lot of different limitations, especially for the staff, that I'm not going to mention in detail at this moment. If you had kept an closer look at the project, you would have read the 'to-do' list sometimes in the past. The new forum software can have almost anything that we desire; it has been built from scratch.

Suggestions:

I would love to see a feature other forums have..
Unless we already have it and i missed it somehow.
What i want is a link to view my own topics i created.

Also want to point out how i had the Drafts page bookmarked manually.
(there is no link to it on your profile page)

I think that was suggested already (or something similar). The forum, in the current state, does not have such a feature.

There is a link under "Post" and "Preview" when one is writing a post (albeit it is small).

I just made a new topic on the New Forum software section , Hopefully people will use it . that way developers will have to visit one place in order to check for bugs , suggestions etc ... : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1456167.new#new

I disagree with this one even though I appreciate the effort. If anything, you should do this on the new forum and not here. There was already a 'Master Bug' thread, but the bug list got moved to Github. This way the developers would have to check both forums in addition to Github (which is more than redundant).
