I thought it died along time ago since I collected some but then heard it was not legit alt coin to contribute too I just gave up on it.

I think you did not read the topic or what OP is saying that is why you are suggesting btcjam to him, because btcjam is a loaning service which would require you to invest quite a large capital in that so that you can get some good interests on that, but 100$ is not that much, it is good for trading which can earn you some good profits in a short time with that amount.

This is right. trading is more profitable with less amount of money. and BTCjam is also good but need more time to get ROI(I didn't used BTCjam, I just heard from others)

In trading you need to work hard your self and need to be active on trading. other wise you may loose,
and in Btcjam it is quite effort less, you just need to add your money in a loan and then wait for return.
now it is up to you.

I thought it died along time ago since I collected some but then heard it was not legit alt coin to contribute too I just gave up on it.

Legit or not just visiting in this link but about the money is still alive or not I don't know about that. because I just heard about monero is for a long time ago and never heard about them again.

maybe he doesnt read the  op's question i guess. buying bitcoin in $100 amount would  be small to keep it for a long time, with that amount i would rather invest  it into trading and  do my best to make it grow with it  just avoid  on lossing trade it cant be possible but be sure to do smart trades so that your $100 in bitcoin would  grow  not just on holding it.

$100 is not really a small amount for everyone but it is small if someone is wishing to hold his coins so for that he would need to grow them a bit by trading altcoins which can generate him good profits gradually even if he starts with $100.

Well for people who are saying that $100 is a small amount well get yourself lives guys for us who are not that wealthy that is already a big amount for investing into something so that we are going to make it grow. And there are only 2 ways that I can think of for investing it by trading and by just keep holding for it.

That amount isn't a small amount at all and you could do or buy some thing useful with it,as you said you could already buy groceries. With that amount. Just to think of it that there are lots of people struggling even to get $5 amount. trading with btc/usd would  be  really time consuming if  you have a small investment , you would feel your profit  if you have  huge  capital especially on short tradings iin btc/usd pair. Patience is the number one rule in trading.. if you don't have patience and you can't wait for long you won't become a successful trader.
specially in crypto currency Industry patience is even more important.

I bought some altcoins from yobit without doing any proper re search and reading about them.  and even more worst thing is I bought with a lot of BTC. almost 0.5 btc I've invested in these shit coins and after some time I realized how big mistake I've did. all coins got dumped so badly and till today they didn't increased again. seems the investors left the coins.
so don't invest your money blindly here.

Yes , that happened with me too , after i bought the shit coins from yobit . The coin dump hard and hit the ground (hit 1 satoshi) after that the coins was dead and my investment was vanished . Searching about coins and community is good start before invest our money to trading

Well your wrong because even 100 usd you can turn them into 1 btc with a present price.. just buy and sell and follow the present margin right now..
So that  you can make a usd for every price spikes..
