Tried it with 0.002 BTC and got back 0.00397907 BTC (double minus transaction fee). I consider the game very risky, but it does not appear to be a scam. At least not yet. Just an investor based game. I like it and will come back every now and then. But I would not risk very much unless the number of people actually investing in the non-free bitcoin game grows.
Edit: It appears that the unpaid balances of one round is taken over to the next round, which is a good opportunity ...
