Hello all am new to this forum,but for me I think bitcoin need to send to people who will understand it very as they understand banks too.

Well first of all, welcome to the forum and I am quite curious how can you be new here in forum if you are full member with 182 activity already? But you are right with that, we need to make bitcoin well known for the people we know so that the next year is going to be going to be another great year for bitcoin and we are going to benefit for it.

I think 2016 is the year of the bitcoin because many events happen about bitcoin.. also the price of bitcoins this year from below 400 the price will jump to 600 value so this is the year of the bitcoin not 2017.. no events will happen in 2017..

The prediction may be something could happen. But it all depends on the situation that will occur in 2017. because sometimes what we predicted or believe to turn from it, and also most of us do predictions because it saw past that has happened regarding the bitcoin. Every new year  would be a  year  of bitcoin hence its  still existing , we are refering to the  price  though when we said that  it might be this  year but we  wont  know  on what would be the price of  2017 but for sure it would  be more than compared to this years prices.

Yes and even this year was good for bitcoin in fact it was very exciting year as we saw the price of $780 after a long time and if there would be no bitfinex hack then we would be sitting at much higher level by now.

Yeah if bitfinex is not happen before we are in good price level of bitcoin.. 2017 many promises that i heard by someone here and i hope that it will happen soon that the price will reach again back to 700 value or more..

It's more easy to another "hack" occour than a "good news" to increase the price... Price wil stay the same and next year someone will create a thread like "2018, the year of bitcoin" and that will happen every year lol

The year of Bitcoin will be somewhere close to the end of the halving rewards, something like 2120. That will likely be the peak of Bitcoin if everything was to keep on growing in a linear fashion, but we'd have to see because as we all know nothing lasts forever.

Well, that depends on your criteria on how to determine a year for bitcoin, because if you will ask me and we are living in this present time I would say that for me 2016 is already a year of bitcoin for me because I am profitable this year because bitcoin is profitable. Do you really think that the years 2015 and 2016 was never good for bitcoin? Can you tell me what the price was at the end of 2014? And what it was at the end of 2015? And you can see what it is right now. And you should also see the factors of users database, adoption level and many more things, the thing is you are wishing that bitcoins increases 100% every year which is simply not possible.

Absolutely.  No one can ever predict what will happen on the price of bitcoin.  It is unpredictable.  All we can do to have a good future with bitcoin is to work hard for it.  Have a good strategy on earning bitcoins and just be focus in it.  Then we do not need to rely on the price of its price and need not to worry about it.

I don't understand why you are not considering 2015 a year for bitcoin.  If you only observe that price during 2014m you will notice an increase in price, adoption and area of influence of bitcoin in the year 2015.  And now that 2016 is about to end in another 2 months, you can clearly state that bitcoin have gain a hunge appreciation during this year.  So as bitcoin supporter and enthusiast, I think it will be another year of the bitcoin this coming 2017.

The year of 2016 is going to end within a few months and with that the price of bitcoin started to increase of which I was assure that it will happen as everyone I am also buying bitcoins and I have doubt that it will increase in the next year to double up so it will make me millionaire.

There is no assurance that the price will hit in 1.2k usd per bitcoin unless if there is new develop program that can help to promote bitcoin fast in many people to use bitcoin. maybe it can hit 1k value above. for now we are waiting for more adoption will happen in 2017 for bitcoin so that the price will increase more to have a good benefits as holders ..
