Dear Communuity,
 

Over the last 6 weeks and 3 days, starting from May 10th until June 24th 2016, Rise has been receiving donations to the project via it's ICO.
 

For the team it's been a hectic period and one that we'll never forget (for all the right reasons), but especially for Justin the lead developer. Until now he's been working mainly on his own on the coding aspects but starting from now and with funding we are able to hire more coders to work along side him.
 

We set our goals high in terms of the roadmap and we're in a position to make all of those plans come to reality over the next year.
 

As a combined team we expect to do great things for Rise and juding by the support from the community via participation into the ICO, you guys are expecting BIG THINGS from us too! Fear not... we are here to make Rise into a cryptocurrency to rival the very best.

One of the main curiosities during this event was the affiliate marketing system as conceived by Steven Remington (co/founder).

 
AFAIK Rise was the first to offer the affiliate market system, and we are more than pleased to say it worked very well, and gave many people a chance to get some rise even if they were not in a position to purchase any!

Personally I've never seen such interest coming in from all kinds of places such as indonesia, brazil and other countrys where it might be difficult for people to enter into referral marketing opportunities. Rise gave them a way to participate with it's 3% referral commisions and people took advantage of that... the proof is in the user base. We have fantastic distribution.

Outside of the numbers there are so many good things lined up for Rise and we can't wait to share them with everybody. For example, trading started on day one and Rise is live on Bittrex. As we become known and demand grows we'll no doubt be added on other exchanges but we are off to a great start.

So on that note, thanks to each and everyone of you that became a Rise holder and on behalf of the team, we wish all of the Rise commuinity the very best of success going forward.

jdr0dn3y 3:40 PM @ashiba We are still validating a couple of transactions that were in our escrow on time, but not on our transaction ledger on the Site. Coinbase dropped a few transactions. As we validate, it drops. Also, the calculation for the total RISE was off a bit, by the amount of bonuses that were supposed to be given on referral fees.

I can only assume that they are recalculating everyone's balances with bonusses, deposits that were sent before closing time but took long to be confirmed and so on. That's what happened over at lisk and some people freaked out about it.

What was this one trade at Bittrex about? Was it a test or something?

Makes sense. I put a last bit of btc into the ico a little while before it ended.  Thanks for that!

No-one can buy since they stopped the ICO, I think some BTC were still stuck in Coinbase and not showing up on people's ICO page, (mine included). As all the funds are caught up with the value of each rise coin will rise...
It's painful to watch the rise balance going lower though...

Yes that is definitely the case, your amount says "estimated", they need to divide all $RISE with all wallets but for example have to give people more RISE when they had the biggest bonuses in the beginning, it was 25% i think. Lisk did the same.

I second this too! had over 40 post by before ICO ends but was rejected with 35 post.
