I like this project a lot....what convinced me even more its the video I saw with Justin...he sound so genuine and natural that encourage you to see how good this project is. He managed to talk a little bit about everything related to crypto in a friendly easy language that you dont fall sleep like the mayority of youtube crypto videos that is out there. Having said this please can someone tell me where can I find the link with the clock down for the ICO to see how many hours are left before the end of this fabolous ICO. Thanks

ok I found it! Smiley

Announcement

Vote Rise_A_Bit as Rise Delegate
Delegate Name:
Rise_A_Bit1

Who is a Rise Delegate?
Rise is based on the DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) consensus mechanism which is different from the usual POS (Proof of stake).
In the usual POS, every wallet which contains coins stakes (validating transactions and forming the distributed consensus and to earn coins in return) but in DPoS, these wallets are able to vote for a delegate instead and these delegates (101 voted rise delegate accounts) intend do all the work in creating and maintaining the rise blockchain while they receive transaction fees as reward.

Delegates are trusted accounts which are elected to be among these 101 accounts mandated to perform the function of validating transactions and maintaining the blockchain while these transaction fees are given to them as reward.

Why Vote for me?
As a rise DPos delegate, i'll have nodes running in more regions to strengthen the rise network and to prevent any downtime, all node will have SSL and DDOS protection.

Daily Dev Update

I am currently in full launch prep mode, building servers, getting them secured, and testing load. I will likely be doing this all night tonight, and will be unavailable for communication via Chat until we launch tomorrow. The rest of the RISE team is available for discussions in our chats.

For a quick update on how to withdraw, here is how the process will work.
1. There will be a button on your profile "Withdraw to Wallet". This will then randomly generate a 12 word mnemonic key as a passphrase (on your computer). This will be displayed to you, you will need to keep this passphrase in a safe place, as it is how you will access your wallet.
2. The mnemonic will be sent to the Rise Mainnet API, encrypted in transit through SSL, to create an account on our mainnet with that passphrase. Once this comes back as completed, and the wallet address is created, it will trigger a deposit into your account from the RISE Investor account (Starting with 88,000,000 RISE).
3. At this point, you will have access with your RISE, via the passphrase.

Talk to you all on launch day! [ Tomorrow ]

P.S. We have partnerships with the following companies:
Microsoft - They are providing server and development support, and one-click blockchain installer support
IBM Global Entrepreneur Program - Credit with both BlueMix and Softlayer, and IBM Blockchain tools.
Digital Ocean - Server Sponsorship
Atlassian - Developer Tools and Productivity suite (Jira, Confluence, Hipchat, Bitbucket)

Huh

2 the source code will be public from day one??

3 do you have any talks with major exchanges and if yes,  any eta ??

4 do you have already any partnerships- big projects-Dapps to announce after the launch ??

 Huh

5. And when they handed out bonuses for the company bounty ??

Thanks!!!

1. Announcement on Mainnet will be made as soon as it is up. It has been stated before that mainnet will be ready same day as launch.
2. It is public already, has been since we started working on it. https://bitbucket.org/risevisionfoundation is the URL for all of our source code.
3. Yes, no ETAs yet, and they requested we do not release names until they are ready to announce us.
4. We are in discussions with a few different Developers, and we have a couple of projects ourselves to announce, but we will wait to announce any of that until the DApp side of our platform is fully functional.
5. Bounties will be handed out sometime after launch. We do not have any more specific details than that.

Yes

We are in talks with exchanges but we have been asked to keep it confidential until they are ready to list us.

4 do you have already any partnerships- big projects-Dapps to announce after the launch ??
We have partnerships with IBM and Microsoft. As for DApps, we've had people reach out to us but nothing confirmed.

5. And when they handed out bonuses for the company bounty ??
Bounties will delivered shortly after launch.

Edited - and Justin beat me to it   Wink

RISE is going to end up the same as WAVES IMO (unless the developer promises actually come true). RISE is already being overbought at the 0 bonus level.

I hope so, I can buy up all those cheap RISE from weakhands if thats the case, NOMNOM.

Take a look at the wallet distribution, Waves isn't overbought, the whales are playing their games.  One wallet has increased by 600k alone today.

Dont be so sure of yourself. This is not waves here. I think its better then waves and stronger.

I agree, Waves was a huge fail for investors.  They want investors to wait until late 2017 for ROI!  In the meantime, the Waves lead trolls investors on the chat and mocks them for selling cheap when the price went 20% below ICO.

I'm very confident Rise will outdo Waves for investors.  Not sure about the tech, but for investment it's going to be better.

Those who bought WAVES early (when BTC was way cheaper) are in nice USD-based profit, so it's good investment but obviously not for all

Why Vote for me?

Actually I have tested the Lisk testnet in a few months ago, and now I have a Lisk node too on mainnet. I've setting up a Rise node on testnet two days ago, now I am on place 15th. The mainnet is very stable and I like it. I can monitor my node all day, so please vote for me!  Wink
