I'm usually pretty patient about this sort of thing, but I'm getting frustrated with Rise. The updates merely say, "we are almost finished with...." or "we are in the middle of...." An update gives expected dates of completion and details. We should see some movement to justify the project.

It's a two-edged sword. People want frequent updates, but the result of this is that it's often going to be a report of ongoing progress of some of the same things that were reported in the update before, simply because the things the team is working on require more than just a few weeks. More frequent updates doesn't cause development to magically be accelerated. It still takes time to develop something that functions well, is robust, feature rich, secure, stable, scalable. Rushing developments prematurely to market without extensive auditing doesn't do anyone favors either.

Expect audit reports to be released on Code and Web security in the next 2 weeks.

I don't mind the same things being repeated a couple of times. What I do mind is handing a dev team any amount of BTC and seeing almost nothing happen. I never invest what I can't afford to lose, this is getting more than a little foolish. Things should be moving more swiftly than they are. It's a fact and I don't know that anybody here is happy with this.

All this smells like trouble en conflict. The big buywall at 1k satoshi also gone. I sold my RISE. I expect the price to drop.

I posted on Twitter just yesterday, there are new commits coming very soon related to delegate nodes and new SDK's.

Please remember that development takes time to complete properly.

there was also promise to update the rise.vision website few weeks ago. I didn't see anything news on it also

When you give update, you should put dates or percentage of what's done. And also people are looking for results, not just like "almost finished" or "in the middele of" or "a few more test cases". How few is that few - just 1 more or 50 more - and when do you expect to finish it?

Looks like current price is 0.00000951 BTC that means, current RISE under ICO price? Why people don't hold but selling under ICO price???

exactly, i dumped 12k of what i kept when it sunk after they released and so i have dump the rest as well. the dev may now look legit but seem like its a complete failure seeing how lisk had been very active and i guess the dev are just following its steps every not and then. they will always be behind the shadows of lisk.

I think its time to dump my rise that i kept.on my wallet.the movement of price is not good and it is in the ico price.I can't wait it anymore to hold this.I don't want to risk my investment here.I know the developer is working hard for it.but this is investment.every one will not to risk so much for that. good luck for the holder.

Hi @electronicash, we're not merely following in Lisk's steps.  RISE is going a very different direction in terms of development.

One example of how RISE is different: Lisk supports only JavaScript as the development language for Decentralized Applications (DAPPS), RISE supports Visual C#, JAVA, Python, NodeJS, SWIFT and RUBY.  Alpha versions of the SDKs (Software Development Kits) for VISUAL C# and NodeJS have already been released and the next one coming up is the Python SDK.

Also, the RISE Node system is being split up in Delegate Nodes and Core Nodes to increase performance, stability and ease of configuration. The audit report of the new code for this system will be released within 2 weeks.

Hi @kame.japan2,  RISE Delegate nodes are live but not yet open for community nodes because we are currently doing final testing and auditing on completely revamped Delegate Code. We are getting close to releasing this new code after which you can run your own node. When you are voted in by the community to be a Delegate you will earn RISE rewards with your Node through forging.

Go ahead and submit a delegate proposal on our RISE forum and we'll include you in the list of candidates.
