Government no need to give anything to bitcoins and its community. As we see bitcoin price pump now that will increase soon. Halving is the main key present So wait for that go to Skyrocket...

exactly my friend, bitcoin no need by anyone permission for use it but If you want to accept it in shop or in any real state then definitely you have to take allow by government after that you can do anything otherwise it is illegal.

Hey pals,
I would to like to know about bitcoin adoption in your cities and please let here know, If bitcoin adoption happens for worldwide transaction and business goods purchasing means what will happen?
Then what governments will do?
If this happen the bitcoin currency will turns into real money currency, but i think it will happen in the future worldwid because now it seems that little amount of people know this bitcoin.. So if you want to happen this as soon as possible , introduce it in the company that you know so that they need to think.if it is good to accept bitcoin worldwide

Bitcoin adaption will be the greatest achievement for bitcoin and to users i think it can gain more trust in business sector and many people will starting to like it even haters will love this because for its achievement gains. But before it comes proper bitcoin education must be given to business sector so they can truly understand and get the proper idea on how to get benifits if they stake and adopt bitcoin.

Coins.ph is doing a wonderful job in getting bitcoin used here in the Philippines. Bills, phone credits, payments, remittances, and more. The only thing I really need right now here is a bitcoin debit card that I can use locally.

They're doing a wonderful job indeed. I, too, leave in the Philippines. If you want to get your bitcoins out of an ATM machine, you can use coins.ph's cardless withdrawal though.

Bitcoin is increasing ATM, I think it will become stable at 440-450$ for a couple of days. As for the future, in 12 weeks I think the price will increase drastically.

In my country, Bitcoin still not very well known by people. And about the government, they do not admit Bitcoin as a currency there for there's no regulations about Bitcoin. But however, they do not forbid people to use Bitcoin. So we can use Bitcoin with our own risk.

Then what governments will do?
The governments might compete with bitcoin and build their own blockchain if it destroys their currency in the future but i know this will be unlikely gonna happen.

I doubt if Reserve banks will turn to Bitcoin, but many banks might develop their own in-house private Blockchains to transfer currency cheaper than

existing services like Swift. You might even see transfers between different banking groups with their own Blockchain technology in the future. I

cannot see why these banks are dumping millions into the development of their own tech, if they could just have used Bitcoin. Barclays and Circle

has made the best choice to go with Bitcoin and they are saving millions in development cost.  Roll Eyes

Well the adoption rate in the city I'm residing at the moment is very poor since only few stores accept it (bus travel agency and an online exchange with physical store) and AFAIK there's only another one that accept it in another city, that is a shoe store. If adoption happens worldwide then traditional monetary systems would be used in a lesser manner. Regarding governments, no one could tell it since it should happen in the first place.

It's the same for me, unfortunately.
Nobody around me know or cares about Bitcoin.
In fact, most people are scared even to use Internet for Internet banking or online purchases Smiley
I can just spend my Bitcoin funds online or keep in the wallet and wait for price increase.
I really hope this situation will change but not optimistic in short term.

Bitcoin use is still very low here and not many bitcoiners. However, if bitcoin becomes a popular worldwide currency, local government is not going to let it go without getting tax from the use of it.
yeah exactly If all government will allow bitcoin after that they wouldn't get any taxes and few government's value will be also loosen and they can't make make money that's why they are not allowing to use biitcoin... Only few country are allowing it.

Bitcoin's mainly a convoluted way of sending your local currency around. That's definitely usage but it would be nice to see some hints of a proper closed loop developing. That'll come with time. And as for my own country there's virtually nothing anywhere.

Unfortunately, I dont see bitcoin being much more than a store of value and for transferring large blocks of money around the globe. The transaction time is too long for day to day retail. But i'm sure there are plenty of alts that can fulfill this function, or even if Paypal adopted bitcoin, they could make interaccount transactions instant. But paypal is too afraid of the technology to do that.

I think for bitcoin is unacceptable in a country will be quite difficult. the state will provide a lot of rules in bitcoin. of course it will be difficult for bitcoin
I have never found a country that legalized bitcoin?

I see this kind of comment a lot, and find it deeply disturbing that you somehow think that people's activities need to be 'legalized'.

Isn't it obvious that,, by default, all activities are 'legal' (breathing, walking, running, dancing)?
Then on top of that there exist regulations/laws/rules to prohibit certain activities 'for the good of society'.

So laws are activity blacklists. You seem to want a country to whilelist bitcoin, but it doesn't work that way.
Is there even one country where everything is illegal unless a law permits it?

More specifically responding to your comment:
The best you can expect from a gov is that they 'legalize' bitcoin by saying 'we will never make it illegal'. Expecting any organization with more than 2 members to make a decision like that when they don't actually need to is just  silly.

i doubt that they will ever do that as all the cryptos that are decentralized are not prefered by governments and if the crypto is centralized people will definitely not choose it over bitcoins

i think that bitcoin adoption will be really fast pretty soon as more and more people will start using it on regular basis, and in the future the price will grow even more in my opinion

Government from most of european and american country have already noticed about bitcoin as adoption is so use and cryze for bitcoin is increasing there day by day. Among asia china is driving force for crypto currency market, chinese love bitcoin. But still we need more merchants rather than only attracting traders and manipulation bitcoin market. Bitcoin should be accepted wherever visa is accepted in which bitcoin based visa card provider could be crucial.

In my country people adopt it for earning it with different ways available online and in that while they learn good about bitcoin and after that when they come to know about the places where bitcoin is used for purchase they do purchase with it.
