Who try to dump this coin?
When total coin is 17 millions till now, it is crazy to sell for 2 satoshi!

I think DEV should cut the supply off around 30 million or so and let the price fly. That would be an awesome birthday gift for his daughter.

agree with you, hope dev considering this option, 50 M will be good, so people still have time to jump in.

and also a roadmap, where Lana will go.

I'd vote for limiting the supply too. Maybe at block 10.000? It would make the supply about 50M...
From there on it could be pure POS...
With current supply increase every day, miners will push the price lower and lower...

I agree, stopping pow at 20-50mil coins an go pos would increase its value and get people trading it. Roadmap would be nice but why the coin was made makes roadmap currently not important to me.

5000 - 10000 POW block, 20 - 50 M supply, continue with dpos and pure pos. this will be more interesting to miners and investors  Smiley

hope dev consider community suggestion.  Wink

++++ Dev, pls, dev, consider community suggestion

good luck to you dev and lana supporter.

i'm done.

Yeah I don't think DEV is interested in truly seeing this coin success. I've written to him personally and no response. He's been online and have not even taking the time to respond to this thread.

I think you may be overreacting. It was pretty clear from the get go that this coin doesn't have a giant dev team focused on commercial adoption. It's a tribute coin for fun, and can be developed with time. That doesn't make it any less valuable. No need to hang the war drums just because the dev is not online 24/7 answering questions and satiating everyone who thinks they're going to get rich.

Hi Lucky7btc me being "online" on BCT just means i dont close tab on browser therefore i am "always online" Smiley

Why i havent replied yet: yesterday dentist appointment and after was a little rought on the neuronet so i slept almost half a day and was too tired in the evening to spent time at console.
We live in diff timezones so morning time for you might be 3am for me Smiley

Rest ashure i read everything and will reply asap to everyone. There is also a sad fact that LanaCoin is on Yobit for 48 hours and 10x of messages about what the price will be in one month, like anyone on the planet knows how cryptocoins will be valued at any time!

Right now i am focusing on getting a proper official bounty started and setting up a team collaboration (most likely Slack will be used).

I will be more active during the weekend!

Very well said and thank you @craslovell. True about the dev team 2 guys right now but there is guite a few interested people based on BCT PMs and i would be very glad to have anyone interested to join if they can actually bring a skillset needed for the next stages of development.
There are quite a few members as well that see this coin as an opp to squezze some satoshis from me by offering their services that for me or the coin dont represent any technological value and i as you wrote indeed Q&A whole day long to some folks that are only interested in getting rich fast specially since LanaCoin is 9 days since genesis block.  Then there is the fortune telling and questions about the price of Lana in one month so i might as well put out my cristall ball and say "on 20.may 2017 1 LanaCoin will be priced at 15$ Smiley  so you all need to  buy it now as much as you can :=) , if i am wrong it just means i suck at fortunetelling and need to stick to IT management Smiley

I have considered it  and announcing a hard fork after 9 days since genesis block with only mean that i am not willing to deliver what was initially coded and stand down from the initiall plan. Hope i dont loose you as part of the team for not choosing the suggestions i can only say have some patience as if my projections are corrent its gonna be an interesting ride when bitcoin blockhalving occurs in two months.  So to put it short a lot is gonna be going on in the next 60 day so there is no point of making unrational decissions 10 days after launch.

Hope you can all respect my decision.

There's probably no harm in sticking to your original plans. Also, damn... That rich list has taken off in the past day or two. Highest wallet was 2 million and now there is one at 2.7 and one at 4  Shocked

Someone buying them all up?

Hi all appologies for the lack of comm these days. Sad to say my mother has some health issues so i am not really in the mood to work on anything right now.
Thank you all for your understanding.

Meanwhile here are some tech updates on day 12 since LanaCoin genesis block.

Block count at time of writing: block no. 4915

Total generated (mined and staked) coin till date: 26,820,392 LANA out of 7.506 B max coins that will ever be created

Mining difficulty: 984.9 k

Market price: $0.018 / 1000 LANA

Network is stable and running smooth.

For those of you that can spare some computational humble resources please consider running a full node and contribute to decentralization of the network by opening port 7506 on your router.

Thank you all and have a nice week.

First formal LanaCoin bounty giveaway for developers.

Lana is contributing her personal coins from blocks 1-50 for this community task bounty! Total of 500.000 LANAs

Jobs required to perform by any interested developer or blockchain operator and earn some LanaCoins along the way.

- design and compile a more gui friendly wallet with optional additional functions that can utilize the ledger like digital ID,HTML5 gaming app,docusign...
- compile, setup and host a dedicated lanacoinj node library on electrum server for 1-12 monhts (will help with server costs!)
- translate and keep updated BCT thread in native language
- setup and host a full node with p2p tcp7506 port opened in a location not seen last on blockexplorer map
- port lanacoind to raspberrypi image
- fork lanacoin into icoinomi wallet for android

All community devs will also recieve a short term mining reward from any stake blocks that the initiall 50blocks generated since block0. (aprox another 600k LANAs roughly)

LanaCoin roadmap is mostly oriented into a learning curve for the young generations as the blockchain finance future belongs to them.
I cant think of a more responsible way to educate and inspire personal blockchain adoption than with a personalized cryptocurrency that is community driven.

LanaCoin ledger today is 13 days old with a total of 30M LANA mined at block 5363 (POS+POW).

Looking forward to reading your comments and seeing your contributions.
Finest regards to all.

how long before the wallet will show "staking" is there a minimum coin age and/or minimum amount of coins before staking?

Minimum PoS age: 7 hours
Maximum PoS age: unlimited

unsure about min amount. (think it will stake even with 1 mature coin, but will take FOREVER since you would  have very low network weight)

This is true. Somehow my network weight is 4 times the entire network (so says the client), but I am far from the biggest wallet. Still pull about 40 to 50 PoS blocks a day.

Hi there is no mininum amount for staking as long as coins have matured. True about  the network weight.
