it says that lana faucet pays 26 coins on average, but the highest i earn is 4 coins.....
How lovely complaint about faucet paying The average says 26 LANA because the stats have not been reset since the faucet was started and since the faucet was heavily abused in the past in have lowered the payment maximum. Effective now this are the new settings. "minimum_payout" => 1.00000000, "maximum_payout" => 30.00000000, "payout_precision" => 4, "payout_threshold" => 1.00000000, "payout_interval" => "24h", Oh man so I lost out a little. I better get to collecting. I am very curious on how the coin stakes. Its cheap right now so probably a good time to buy in. Anyway besides the faucet fpr some free Lana ?

That is low if you look at the satoshi equivalent but Lana will go up in value so hopefully the faucet will handout the same amount and we can at least habe some Lana at the start to stake with instead of nothing. Maybe when the market is better it will ten fold in price. It is still early and we all still early adopters. Give it a few months. Maybe those Lana you getjer from faucet is not so worthless after all.

The problem is the LANA reward for the faucets is very lol like 50 satoshi. Probably better to collect from normal btc faucets then convert it into LANA. The price is looking ok but it needs to move up it can only move up by 1 satoshi which is 50% so if anyone has a huge bag they will make an absolute killing.

The only reason i set the official faucet limits so low is to prevent abuse but compared to PoSWallet its a killing )just tested and got 0.71300 LANA. Will talk to PoSWallet admins to raise it to at least 50 or so.

Not the ones that are part of others like a multi faucet or cryptochat. I mean a self hosted one. Well done on being listed on Cryptopia and being included in PoSWallet. this is a great job which someone has done for facility. Yep he is doing well. I managed to snag a few lana for cheap before the price went up.

Pos = 7% plus foxed amount of 1000 . How does thst fixed amount work how long does it take to mine a block and how many coins do I need to get a fair chance of finding the block first ? I need to k ow to see how much to invest.
Hi Ryan its not just about how many coins one is staking. Connection quality is also a factor, opened tcp port 7506 helps as well as you get better connections to the p2p network. Your stake weight however varies as well as not all LANAs in existance are always staking, maybe check https://chainz.cryptoid.info/lana/#!wallets and see the estimation of coins needed to be in the top spots there for being competitive when it comes to getting the fixed stake block mine rewards. Or use PoSWallet and benefits from group stake, but do note that in case of third party wallets you "dont hold the keys to your coins" so it does require trust to the provider. Hope this is the info you wanted, Yes that is very helpful thank you. I will be using poswallet since I dont have enough to stake at a competitive rate. I never knew connection quality mattered though. That's interesting. Is opening port 7506 safe ?

Hi Ryan port forwarding 7506 is essentially not different that forwarding your bittorrent port for example. Regarding the security in general we are all better of going off the grid if you get my hint. In terms of of LanaCoin port opening there is no immediate danger as your wallet is simply communicating with all the other clients more efficiently and all new qt wallets that come online will get a copy of the blockchain more faster thanks to your instance. Cheers and have a great sunday.

Hi Meerlin user some magic . Just kidding. Option 1: add these entries to your lanacoin.conf file (you must created the conf file with your preffered txt editor and place it into lanacoin folder located in the %appdata% directory) addnode=103.250.185.3 addnode=104.168.87.91 addnode=109.190.129.149 addnode=138.201.65.88 addnode=139.194.79.9 addnode=148.251.8.18 addnode=149.210.128.213 addnode=151.55.2.225 addnode=172.106.75.17 addnode=176.222.157.25 addnode=176.9.140.80 addnode=178.44.131.75 addnode=178.90.59.178 addnode=185.117.84.28 addnode=185.14.102.119 addnode=188.137.32.82 addnode=193.164.140.162 addnode=212.253.68.214 addnode=212.50.73.82 addnode=27.5.6.15 addnode=31.145.169.194 addnode=45.56.97.149 addnode=46.188.4.74 addnode=5.189.156.99 addnode=50.184.107.54 addnode=52.175.154.250 addnode=62.141.210.8 addnode=77.121.99.19 addnode=78.10.104.169 addnode=78.9.165.200 addnode=79.189.89.234 addnode=80.203.117.85 addnode=80.26.128.29 addnode=81.161.164.12 addnode=81.65.9.22 addnode=83.10.166.249 addnode=83.10.46.181 addnode=83.30.96.26 addnode=85.171.153.89 addnode=86.61.119.34 addnode=89.142.75.86 addnode=89.212.118.169 addnode=89.212.160.165 addnode=89.212.237.53 addnode=89.212.246.67 addnode=91.185.75.94 addnode=93.103.214.215 addnode=93.103.52.66 addnode=93.87.92.2 addnode=94.254.133.248 addnode=95.104.251.68 addnode=95.176.181.239 addnode=95.223.109.96 addnode=95.58.71.11 Updated list of active nodes can be found here https://chainz.cryptoid.info/lana/#!network (click node list) Option2: Open Lanacoin p2p tcp port 7506 on your router/firewall (also add port exception in your software firewall if any) Let me know if you require any addition info.
