For me i don't think .i wanna hold it for more years as much as i can but if incase for next month i will be needed a money i will reserve it to be $1000 before i will sell.
1000 usd is the good target to hold, as it can earn us good profits and many people are waiting for that price so that they can sell when it hits $1k mark. If it reaches $1000, that is just 40% from now, It is not enough. It has to rise 200% or more for me to sell. So you are not happy to sold bitcoins at 1000$. and you need 200% price increase of bitcoins. Then my friend, you need to wait for few years for this to happen  and again we cant grantee that it will happen even after few years. And while waiting for another 200% increase once the price reached $1000 mark, there are lots of price fluctuations that really has a large price margin that will happen. The profit should be more if they always ride those large margin of price movement rather than to wait for a fixed target which is unlikely unpredicatable. |

I'm just not interested in selling until we sail past the current ATH. I would be so angry if I sold now at 680 USD & 6 months later we reached a new ATH.

I think if BTC reach the $1k level the next month, it will be comfortable for me to sell some of my bitcoins as it's good and high price , at least comparing with few months ago.

1K is a good price to sell. Not all off course but maybe 10% of my coins. For me the reason to hold bitcoin is speculation and i can hold my coins for years. |

1K is a good price to sell. Not all off course but maybe 10% of my coins. For me the reason to hold bitcoin is speculation and i can hold my coins for years. So you are in a good position, you do not need the bitcoin to make quick money. I think you will be rewarded in long term. |

My price now as of this moment needs to be hit a minimum of $800.
The closer towards $1k would be even better but realistically if the price does reach to the # I need I`m willing still sell off as long its a close difference.
But my position is just a safety net really to save on price.

The price in the next month could be just $700. The price is around $610 now. It has dropped 10% in the last day. |

All you guys that are wanting to cash out at 1000 or 1500 dollars, are you not scared that the price might just keep pumping up and you wont ever get the chancve to buy back into bitcoin? 1k seems to be the price that most people plan on exiting the market. Why not stay in and enjoy the ride? I dont have an exit price because i dont plan on getting off.

bitcoin might if the price reached more than $ 800, I might sell bitcoin I save. the benefits I get from it quite a lot so I guess it will be fine as long as bitcoin prices above $ 800. but if the price of bitcoin is still great potential to have higher prices in the months ahead, I think I'll wait for it to happen before I sell bitcoin

Why would you sell for fiat though? If it reaches a certain price then you won't use bitcoin anymore? That makes no sense at all. I get if you would spend some bitcoins but selling doesn't make sense in the long run. |

Why would you sell for fiat though? If it reaches a certain price then you won't use bitcoin anymore? That makes no sense at all. I get if you would spend some bitcoins but selling doesn't make sense in the long run. It depends on the strategy you adopt. If you trade, you can buy low and sell high. That will make you some profit. |

For those people who bought their coins with a value of $200 then it is already a reasonable price to sell. You can still buy after you sell so what will you fear if you surely had the profit. |

If you think the price of bitcoin is going to rise further, it does not matter what price you bought the coin, it is better not to sell. We can't predict here whether price will rise or fall, if you bought coins for $200 or $300 it will be really a decent profit if you sell now, and those people who bought for $400 or $500 can wait for few more months. |
