incraese and high your return risk incraese too
and all online investment very high risk can lost all your money

Obviously, though investing on a business is always a risk no matter if you are investing in physical world or internet, but if you are investing on internet that is quite more risky because in physical world you can always be monitoring your investment while on internet that would be quite less.

I have $100,000 to invest but want to safely double it in a year. Any suggestions?

Very simple just buy bitcoins and store them in a wallet for a long time and surely you will see the price of bitcoin going up after one year and if i am not wrong when you started this thread the price of bitcoin was nearly $250 to $300 price and you can see within this year itself you can see the price more then double , today price is $775+. So still you wont regret if you leave it for more long term
