Yesterday was a big Day with +16.67% and 168 Blocks. The start Today is also very High so very much looks like some Hash was added, only a couple of Days left for a pullback? Run rate Period to Date, 6 Hours in, is now up to +8.4%, so even my Pick looking on the low side.....

We are seeing a lot of short Block Times Today and the Period to Date Run rate is on a climb.... Currently at +8.7% and showing no sign yet of slowing....  
If this trend were to continue for the rest of the Period we could see +9%

Looks brutal we may push past  10.

Ouch a +10 is not going to be the funnest if that happens.  The good news is that might help keep price above 460.... so there is good news there if that happens. I keep hoping we get lucky and see a jump in value even more.

Will be interesting to watch that is the only for sure thing.

Yea this big peak this adjustment is looking to be more of a big plateau than a peak.  We may be seeing things turn on permanently until the halving.

Yes this is looking like a double wammy. First because I think you will be right and as the Run Rate is now over +9% we are likely to be over 10% this Period, but second wammy is because the Hash has come on late in the Period, only about 24Hrs to go, the Difficulty correction will significantly under-call the actual Hash added and I think we will be going into the next Period with around +10% as the starting point?

For what it's worth, nextdifficulty.com has been suggesting an increase of 9.6% for several days. I thought for sure it was way too high.........

Which would also make sense to explain some of the previous peaks being the newly made s-7's coming off the line and getting plugged in at a mine before coming offline and being sold "as new".  I don't thinks all the hash is Bitmain, but I think generally this is what we are seeing happen.

And here I thought things would be quiet before the halving...

Just pure speculation nothing has leaked or any good info that I know of.  People have talked about it more it seems with having coming.... but real info is just not there.  So it really is hard to say anything about it with any accuracy.

Coinbase slowly rising - 464.58 so nice to see that makes me feel gool on holding with recent upward swing.

The S9 rumour, as far as I can see, is entirely based off Miningsweden having an S9 Preorder Hash available in the Shop. Supposedly they did the same with S7, so mayhave some value?

Yesterday another big Day with +18.75% and 171 Blocks. Things have stabilised so far this Morning and the Period to date Run Rate is at +8.8% with around 150 Blocks to go. We might get a little pull back Today, but could still go either way?

My thoughts are if they really don't have a date on the S9 with their pre-order.  So they could be collecting pre-orders a week or months. ahead.. they do not commit to anything that I see.  I think if they had true info they would be locked in a NDA and could not release any info let alone sell early.  So I don't give it a ton of merit.  

Price of BTC is still over 460 is the good news.   But the difficulty change is going to hurt that is for sure.

Looks like price went down a decent amount were around 450 so back down - http://www.coindesk.com/price/ . So loss of 10 dollars or so in a day is not so great considering we are looking at a jump in difficulty.

Or cashing in on last gen gear is also possible.  The companies have at cheapest cost likely will ever have on current gen.  So if they have electricity for a few cents... they could make some last profits before having.   It makes sense for some makers to do this.

I just hope they don't go crazy cashing out BTC to fiat.  I really want to see BTC value go back to 460+ were above 450+ still at least.  So not all terrible news I guess.
