No, bitcoin is not popular than dollar, dollar is currently in used all over the world and everyone know about that while bitcoin is new to everyone and a large amount of the community do not know about that, and from a few days the bitcoin price is not increasing, it means that people are not going to invest their money to buy anymore bitcoins, I think even the supporters of bitcoin are going to dump it.
Bitcoin is not too popular but even if the bitcoin is popular cannot be equal or cannot be same in USD because USD is always use for trading, always use around the world. And bitcoin cant replace or beat local currency for now because many of the people dont know how to use it. And we can exchange bitcoin in USD why we need to compare this. |

I don't get it, you mean Bitcoin is popular or not ? Anyway it's not popular as USD nowadays without doubt, the Dollar's usability is a lot more than Bitcoin, but everything could change in the future. As you can see now you see that the Bitcoin is getting more used and that is because the world is also getting more digital and that is perfect for the currency. But the only thing that have to change is that the value must rise soon so we can all make profit with it and that would be perfect. |

I agree with you that it will change soon, even though today USD is still the most useful and well-known currency in the world. But sooner or later, Many investors are into investing to bitcoin that why it will change the game when most investors are into bitcoins and it is a good thing because many stores will accept bitcoins that time. |

USD for me, because USD is the most used fiat in the world and this fiat is used in all trading in bitcoin trading , WORL WIDE TRADING .
And USD is the basis of the price of bitcoin so i think usd is the best. However bitcoin is best for me but it cant equal the level of USD

Profit is nice for all of us but the average joe is more looking for a stable price instead of a price that is changing significantly once every few days. Without stability it will be very difficult to get them to accept Bitcoin. |

One reason why USD is a lot more popular than BTC is because USD has currently been adopted to nearly every transaction that can be done on-hand and online. People are lazy (well, mostly). Some tend to quite not understand the power and potential of bitcoins. They don't give enough time to understand how it works thus they try to avoid it. But sooner or later, with big companies starting to adopt bitcoins, they will be forced/interested in using it too. Just give it a few years or decades. |

Maybe the question of USD or BTC is the question that everyone who owns bitcoin has this question but we know that dollar is stronger than bitcoin but it does not mean you do not buy bitcoin. |

Can't say about popularity but it is definitely less famous than USD. USD is fiat and more people are aware of it and is accepted almost everywhere but bitcoin is digital currency and this is a new concept compared to fiat and most of the people in many countries are still aware of it.
The US Dollar isn't necessarily more popular as currency. The point is that people have no other option than using it, so they use it. More people start to understand that saving fiat money won't make them any money, but makes them lose in the long term. Not in amount but in purchasing power. Bitcoin is the perfect alternative for that. This is spot on, most people dont have an option. Until they discover what bitcoin is, then they consider bitcoin. But anyone out there who isnt aware of it, its a daily known forced only choice concept. If you had carefully read my comment, then you would have realized that I called USD more famous not more popular which means more people know about it and are aware of it. Bitcoin is still some alien thing for many. |

I think that at least with current structure bitcoin will never replace usd or other currencies. agreed in future too it is doubt that bitcoin will replace dollar as dollar is the major currency and bitcoin is not even known to most of the countries, if it is known to many people in future the fame for bitcoin definitely increases but it will be in its own virtual nature with more and more adaptors. |

Most countries recognize us dollars and it will be hard for btc to introduce himself for poor countries that doesn't have knowledge about it, So when people doesn't have enough knowledge into that specially it is used for monetary purpose. They would choose for USD. |

I don't know maybe it would be more popular than the USD but not now. I think if people would get more information about the coin it will of course be more popular but more popular then the USD i don't think so not even in a 100 year. |

As you can see now you see also that there are now more people that is going to use Bitcoin as their payment method and that is quite perfect for the currency itself. But the best thing that must happen will happen soon because the halving will come soon and maybe we can get some huge profit with it. |

If btc was more popular than usd then we would be sitting far higher than 450 dollars right now. So to answer your question, no. Not by far unfortunately.
That´s right if the bit coin was more popular then the Dollar he would be more then the value is now. But i don´t think it would be much more because if everyone uses it, it will get an stable amount i think. |

True, people trust in dollar and follow to dollar in everything. It's the most popular currency nowdays and also the biggest one. Bitcoine can't compete dollar anyway. |
