I had made a topic in Gambling discussion board regarding Different odds for a same bet in sportsbet.io
I asked about the odds that have same outcomes but have different odds.
For example, Romania and Sweden will face each other tonight.
The odds for draw are 3.20 while for "Any to team to win? No" are 3.05
The odds for 0-0 are 7.40 while for under 0.5 are 8.91

I posted that here so that thread might get more attention.

This is odd, yes. I have never seen this on any of the betting sites I used to bet on before, is it on promo deals or it happens often?
Definitely something the sportsbet team should look into, I think there's a mathematical algorithm that calculates that.

I have noticed this on other sportsbetting sites too so it is not uncommon. They probably use the same odds makers. I dont see them investigating into it as it is the bettors choice on which option they take and if it is for the higher odds for the exactly same outcome. Good for the ones who noticed and took them at those odds.

How many seconds does it take in between you pressing the "place bet" button and the actual confirmation that the bet is succesfully placed? Also 14 seconds approx like me? Can you time it next time you place a soccer live bet?

From the top of my head, between 5 and 10 seconds. Definitely not 14 but I can measure it next time, I'll probably be betting on some games live tonight.

Did you manage to time it? Or can this serve as a reminder to time it for your next bet please?

Yes, I bet on 2 games live at the same time, on the same ticket. It took 6 seconds to process and everything went smoothly.
I bet live on multiple occasions and it is always like this, sometimes it happens that odds change but really not so often.

Super sad night here in my country as Romania played so awful in the game with Sweden as we barely had 1 chance to score and we lost the qualify especially when EURO is it in our country too hosting 3-4 games . I had so many hopes with this game yet my national team chocked and got beaten up in first half. Anyway congrats to all the teams that made the qualifiers to Euro 2020 and lets hope we will have a nice final tourney with a lot of goals and spectacular games! <3

Most of my bets are from live odds and it takes several tries to get it through. Clicking again and again just to accept the new odds is annoying but I can't complain since there are times where it could've been a potential loss for me if some of my rejected bets went through.

FWIW, I timed a few of them and it's always above 5 seconds but not more than 14 seconds highest was 11 seconds. The fastest ones are mostly on baskbetball matches and the longest ones are on football. I also had a bet where it got accepted even though the odds already moved by 0.01.

I love betting on football (yes football, not soccer to you US guys). The international break is rubbish though, the games are boring, less competitive & the odds are worse.

betting on Euro Qualifications isn't a too bad dude. many surprises here. and I think the odds are pretty good too. I try to enjoy this international break and take advantage of the momentum in every game and hope the players don't get injured when they return to the club

I am also concerned about the defeat of your country, even though if Romania managed to beat Sweden there is an opportunity to qualify
for Euro 2020. Although the next opponent is very heavy, it is the Spanish. After I saw the highlights of the game it had to be recognized

DarkStar posted a response already in the original thread, and seems his explanation is plausible: all about the margins. And from my own experience, it seems to be true that people only bet with what they're used to or are comfortable with. So bookies got to add lines to all the different types of people, and they'll spread the margins across them I guess.

My favorite local fiat bookie never has different odds for same outcome so it was a surprise for me as well. I often play double chance on outsider in football and recently I found out that Asian handicap 0.5 which is the same stuff gives much better odds at Sportsbet.
Example Russia today:
Double chance: 1,68
Asian 0.5: 1,77

Well no biggie I'll use Asians in the future

Definitely does. We are steadily improving year after year and this is by far the best period we had since I am a fan. Rafa's years were great, by European coefficients we were the no. 1 team in Europe then, but that squad always lacked quality and depth for sustained league challenges and you always knew Hicks&Gillett will destroy whatever good happens. Now everything just clicked and we need just to sit back and enjoy the ride

Moreover, it's an important game for Germany, the one that can ensure their participation at EURO 2020. It will be a surprising match if Belarus actually wins.

Last time I saw the german side play during the summer they didnt score too many goals and actually tied in the game against a lower squad.

Over 4 goals might seem a bit much, you’re needing 5 goals in that match to win the bet. I dunno, seems a bit risky.

I would expect a lot of surprises tonight for EURO as some teams are already qualified so there is no need for them to push further more so make sure you take some risky bets with the lowest team to score at least 1 goal.
